Baseball::Sabermetrics is a baseball statistics module.

Baseball::Sabermetrics provides an easy interface for calculating baseball statistics, given a data importer. In this package, Ive written CPBL.pm for (Chinese Professional Baseball League, http://www.cpbl.com.tw).

Data Structure

Agent Perl is meant to be a multi-platform interface for writing and using transportable perl agents.

A Perl Agent

Is any chunk of Perl code that can accomplish some user-defined objective by communicating with other agents, and manipulating any data it obtains.
A Perl Agent consists of a knowledge base (variables), a reasoning procedure (code), and access to one or more languages coupled with methods of communication. These languages remain largely undefined, or rather, user-defined; support for KQML/KIF is under development.

Developing An Agent

Note that the developer must devise the reasoning procedure and knowledge base described above. Agent Perl does not place any restrictions on what you may do; it only tries to make the doing part easier.

An agent is written as an inheriting sub-class of Agent. Each agents class should be stored in a .pa file (perl agent), and must contain an agent_main() method. All agents are objects. See the examples for more details, and learn how Agent.pm works so you wont step on its toes!

PennAve project is a dynamic photo gallery application written in Python. It is designed to be used in conjunction with F-Spot to organize and manage your photos.
Youre probably asking, what good is yet another photo gallery program? Well, this one is a little different. Its designed to use technologies that will form the basis for the semantic web. This means that all output is done with XML and then translated to HTML with XSLT stylesheets.
If you didnt understand any of that, dont worry, it just means that the underlying technology makes it really easy to extend PennAve. It also means that you can completely change the look of your gallery without modifying the code for PennAve itself - either choose to modify the style sheet for small modifications, or the XSLT sheet for large scale redesigns.
Enhancements:
- Lost-Modified is sent on images allowing them to be cached
- On systems that support the canvas tag, we do some nice canvas drawing for the stacked images on the main page.
- all XML is now placed in a namespace This means that there are changes required for any customized XSLT that you may use on your site. In particular, the top level elements are now pa:tagBrowse and pa:photoView.
- Lots of fixes for UTF-8, hopefully we got them all
- A brand spanking new user interface that doesnt suck nearly as much as the previous one.
- Ability to do server side translation of XSLT files by setting xsltRender=True in the global section of the configuration file.
- Ability to show the default version of an image instead of the original version by setting defaultImage=True in the configuration file.
- Upgraded to CherryPy 3.0
- Almost all navigation now possible without JavaScript
- Lots of small bug fixes.

Open Cubic Player is a music player which can play a wide variety of music formats. Currently it can play so called modules (MOD, XM, S3M, IT), MIDI, MP1-3, SID tunes, and CD audio.
Open Cubic Player supports many soundcards (SB, GUS, EWS, WSS, PAS, and many more). It features many different display modes for "looking" (text and graphics) at the music.
Enhancements:
- Mac OS X CoreAudio is now supported (which requires the CoreAudio SDK).
- MP3 detection is now working again.
- Some compiler warnings and various crash bugs have been eliminated.

Suffix tree implementation library is a C library, an implementation of the suffix trees algorithm to store/retrieve key/data pairs.
The main advantages are a linear indexing time, little memory usage, and very fast retrieving.
It has been developped on FreeBSD/gcc but should be fairly portable.
The source code "testsfx.c" show an example of how to use the library both for inserting, retrieving, and deleting data. There arent many functions and comments should be enough to give you an idea of how to use the library. (read the header of the source file)
You should edit sfxdisk.h to suit your needs: you can change the alphabet size and the offset type. It should be OK to use "long long" 64 bits ints instead of long, in fact I tested it succesfully but havent gone to the point of filling more than 2 GB of data (needless to say you need a 64 bits filesystem).
Two "tools" come with the library (new with version 1.2): dumpsfx and loadsfx. dumpsfx is used to dump the database: dumpsfx [-s separator] if you want to output the result as readable text or dumpsfx < file.sfx > -h to output it for reloading with loadsfx.
dumpsfx outputs on stdout and loadsfx reads from stdin. loadsfx < suffix tree file to create > < dumped_file
