Here is the long awaited new version of Sparkling. I made many changes cause a i still didnt like some of aspects of the iconset and added a few new icons.

KAlgebra is a MathML-based graphic calculator, thought to bring to the user its power by solving expressions written in MathML or calculating converted common equations to MathML.
Enhancements:
ExpressionEdit improved in many ways:
- History added
- Highlighting for MathML added
- Toggling between MathML-mode and Expression-mode enabled
- Can tell if we are writing into a function (operator or ci) so we can help the user a bit (for the moment)
- GUI a bit remade, no more MathML or expression tab, everything goes into ExpressionEdit, can change with shift+TAB
- Variable edition dialog added. Useless but looks nice :)
- divide operators fixed (divide, quotient, rem, factorof)
- approx added
- Expression to MathML compiler optimized. Some operators treated as n-ary instead of binary

KaraivTV is SuperKaramba theme designed for controlling a TV card controlled by an ivtv family (ivtvdriver.org) of drivers.

The peculiar points of this family of cards are:
1. that they have a hardware MPEG2 encoder that outputs the video and audio as an MPEG2 compressed stream. This means that you can watch output of the card in ANY MPEG2 player. (or Kaffeine in my/this case)
2. ivTv drivers come with command line utilities - ivtvctl and ivtv-tune - that allow to set frequency(ivtvctl) and channel(ivtv-tune) from command line.

As a result, you can watch the video in one application, while controlling the channel from another. This applet IS that "another" application. (In other words, KaraivTV is a wrapper for ivtvctl and ivtv-tune commands.)

USAGE:

1. Run the applet (double-click the file you download from here, or double-click karaivtv.theme if you extracted the skz)
2. Go into config menu (right click) to choose the frequency storage engine. (see Setting Channel Frequencies bellow)
3. Enter the channel number in the middle section, press enter.
4. Click (double-click) the "power button" to start TV viewing in Kaffeine.
5. Kaffeine Tips
"U" key - mute
"M" key - removes menus/buttons > just video screen.

INSTALLATION:

1. Save the karaivtv-0.4.skz file you downloaded from here.
2. Double-click it.

SETTING CHANNEL FREQUENCIES

This applet relies on 2 methods of knowing the frequency for a channel.

- It can read the Channel - Frequency pairs from a file and feed the frequency to the ivtvctl directly, or
- It can rely on ivtv-tune util for choosing the frequency for a given channel. (ivtv-tune WILL need to know a broadcasting standard)

To switch between the two modes, look int the config menu (right-click on the applet) If you chose the "ivtv-tune", you will have to tell it what standard to use.

Why dont I just use the ivtv-util? For some (many?) regions ivtv-tune has broken / non-existent tables. (Example: us-cable-hrc is absent in ver. 0.7) So, I have to use the file with custom freqs.

Karora Moomba is an implementation of the Eclipse Workbench API for the web. For the first time, it brings developers a serious framework for building highly dynamic, pluggable web applications based upon a well known framework. Combined with Karoras Cooee UI framework, developers need only know a small amount of Swing/Cooee/Echo2 and some basic Eclipse interfaces to quickly produce impressive rich web applications.

As Moomba harnesses OSGI (like Eclipse) as its plugin framework, it also gains the dynamic nature of OSGI. This means Moomba plugins can be started, stopped, installed and updated on the fly without shutting down the application server. Something rarely found in a java based web application framework.

Moomba is also one of the first web application frameworks to use and be compatible with the Spring-OSGI framework. This framework brings the power of Spring to the OSGI environment, meaning that all the usual Spring tools are available to your Moomba plugins.

Moomba also makes extensive use of the Karora Orana package - an implementation of Eclipse JFace for Cooee. Through this, developers have access to such expected infrastructure as dialogs, viewers and wizards.

Kadu project was started in 2001 as a simple KDE API try-out. Eventually, it became the most popular Gadu-Gadu client for Linux and other Unices (and MacOS X).
Kadu depends on Qt library version 3.x. Beginning with version 0.3.3 it does not require the K Desktop Environment libraries and can be used with other window managers.
Kadu supports Gnome and Window Maker as well. The core of Kadu is the libgadu library (its role being handling the network layer).

Kommando is a "Neverwinter Nights" like wheelmenu for KDE.
Kommando allows rapid access to user defined applications and shell commands and is of course a nice toy to show off with.
NOTE: Works best with a spare mousebutton and imwheel.

Speak Good Chinese is a cross-platform application based on GTK technology that allows you or your students to train their Mandarin pronunciation. Our software is based on Praat, leading software in speech analysis. Our speech technology is backed by the Institute of Phonetic Sciences part of the University of Amsterdam.

Enhancements:
- This release makes administrative tasks easier for teachers or students that want to manage or distribute their own wordlists.
- Another new feature in this subsystem is the shuffle function.
- Several bugs were solved related to cleaning up old recordings.
