Konqueror Userscript 0.1.1

Konqueror Userscript 0.1.1

Konqueror Userscript is a KDE improvement script for Konqueror browser. more>>
Konqueror Userscript is a KDE improvement script for Konqueror browser.
So far, the only feature available is autoexecuting every file under ~/.kde/share/apps/konqueror/userscripts as js, within current document context. TODO, of course, a lil bit compatibility with GreaseMonkey. Include, exclude url definitely will be mandatory needed feature. So far, you got to filtered it yourself within your JS :D. Im sure somebody will post a handy js script for this. Also, needed feature would be: enable disable userscript of course.
Screenshot shows an effect of the following code:
var elms = document.getElementsByTagName("a");
//alert(elms.length);
for(var i=0;i
elms[i].style.color="red";
elms[i].style.border="1px solid";
}
Enhancements:
- Supports userscript metadata (//== UserScript== tag).
- include/exclude works (I assume greasemonkey using wildcard matching)

PloneFolderOrder 1.01

PloneFolderOrder 1.01

PloneFolderOrder is a project that allows you to keep an order on any content inside your Plone Folders. more>>
As Plone does not offer this functionality yet, PloneFolderOrder is a solution that works in todays Plone sites. Once integrated into Plone, it will become obsolete for newer versions of Plone, but there are enough Plone sites that need this functionality today to justify this temporary solution.
The difference to other solutions that store order information inside content objects themselves, PloneFolderOder stores order information in Plone Folders (Therefore the name PloneFolderOrder). Storing content order in a Plone Folder is preferable, because when the ordering changes, you only have to change a single object, the Plone Folder itself. The only drawback is that content objects have to query their container to know their place in the order.
The order screen of Plone Folders contains the list of the folders content, and the user can order the content.
The standard Plone views, and most importantly the navigation tree, are respecting the order set by users.
It is a full-fledged Plone product, installable and uninstallable using the QuickInstaller Tool.
Enhancements:
- Bug Correction : restarting zope will not delete the method getParentFromFolder

LongPlayer extends the functionality of a traditional MP3 player. more>>
LongPlayer extends the functionality of a traditional MP3 player and is meant for people with a large MP3 or Ogg Vorbis collection who want to listen to it all day. LongPlayer chooses from dynamically generated collections of music to fill the MP3 players playlist.
It does this in a more advanced way than a traditional player, taking into account the rating of the song and the time that has passed since the song was last listened to. The GUI allows you to view, rate, replay, and delete songs previously listened to. It works with XMMS, WinAmp, and iTunes.
Enhancements:
- fixed crashes when there are no playlists

cdevour 1.01

cdevour 1.01

cdevour is a set of scripts designed to make CD ripping painless. more>>
cdevour script is designed to make CD ripping painless. Aside from swapping discs, it aims for as little user interaction as possible. Drives are continually polled for discs. Upon finding a disc in a drive, it determines what CD it is, makes sure it has enough disk space, and rips.
Names are retrieved from CDDB and the disc is ejected when finished. CDs that have already been ripped are ejected immediately, and when there is not enough disk space, the script waits until there is.
A separate encoding script encodes files into Ogg Vorbis in the background. Encoded files are tagged and renamed. Another script can move albums into a music directory automatically.
Main features:
- continually polls your cdrom drives for discs
- determines what CD it is
- ejects a CD if it has already been ripped
- rips your cds, making sure it has enough disk space to do so
- monitors disk usage of running rips
- queues discs for ripping when not enough disk space is available
- gets all the information it needs to name your rips later
- ejects when finished with a CD
- applies cheese or peanut butter spread to discs if desired
cdevour also spawns its own separate encoding script which:
- encodes any finished rips into ogg vorbis, one track at a time
- removes raw data when finished with a track to save disk space
- tags the encoded file with artist, album, track number, title
- renames the file (by default, to my personal liking)
- moves encodes of finished albums to an artist/album directory structure

Konqueror Burning Sidebar 1.0

Konqueror Burning Sidebar 1.0

Konqueror Burning Sidebar is a KDE ioslave and sidebar that lets you create and burn CDs or DVDs from Konqueror. more>>
Konqueror Burning Sidebar is a KDE ioslave and sidebar that lets you create and burn CDs or DVDs from Konqueror. K3b provides most of the backend.

(Used to be called kio_burn)

The sidebar currently supports burning data and audio CDs.

Quick start guide:

The interface for version 0.8 is very different to previous versions. This page explains how to use the new interface.

Firstly, install the package. If you are using the source package this is done with something like

$ configure --prefix=/usr
$ make
$ su -c "make install"

Note that you need to set the "prefix" directory to be the one where KDE is installed.
Close all Konqueror windows you have open, hit Alt-F2, type "killall konqueror" and click "run".

Now open up a new Konqueror window. If it is not already visible, hit F9 to show the sidebar. Hopefully you will now see a yellow CD icon in one of the sidebar buttons on the left. If not, left click below the buttons and select Add New -> CD Writer. If this does not work, you may need to use "Rollback to system default".
