Insipid is a Web-based bookmark repository (or a linkblog) inspired from the popular Delicious site. Insipid supports RSS feeds, private entries, and importing and exporting of the bookmarks.
Main features:
- Support for both the MySQL and PostgreSQL databases
- Private bookmarks that only the owner can see
- Import and export, in a Del.icio.us compatible XML format
- Full UTF-8 support
- Snapshotting of pages (basically caching a page and its included content in the Insipid database)
- Tags for categorization - you can view the bookmarks and RSS feeds by tag, as well as using addition to get more complex results (for example "Java + documentation")
Enhancements:
- This release adds a JSON backend in preparation for the "inspd" Firefox Insipid extension.

The Mango Library is a Java library consisting of a number of iterators, algorithms and functions, loosely inspired by the C++ Standard Template Library.
Enhancements:
- This release adds a further two iterators.

speyes project is a South Park-inspired xeyes dockapp for WindowMaker.
It works as a dock app with WindowMaker, and as a normal X window with other window managers.
Enhancements:

contestFS for Amarok was inspired by the work of amarokFS, and is a script to show the contextbrowser in the fullscreen mode.

Same dependencies as amarokFS.

It can also be run by the amarokFS script. Just change the path to /usr/local/bin/contextFS after install.

SciPres is a system for creating animated presentations. SciPres was inspired by Slithy, a python-based system developed by Douglas Zonker.

In short, SciPres is to PowerPoint what LaTeX is to Microsoft Word: you script your presentation using a text editor, rather than using a WYSIWYG system.

IceHybrid is a theme that combines the look of Windows Vista and Ubuntu Linux.

IceHybrid has a good looking toolbar (comes with Vista-inspired icons and the Ubuntu logo), window decorations based on the basic Vista theme (not Aero), and some Tango icons that can be used in menus (as in the screenshot).

For the best effect, use cream-coloured GTK themes (like the UbuntuLooks theme and its derivatives). These will blend nicely with the frame and window decoration colour.

GedanKen is a little karamba widget for your notes I was inspired by TooDoo and dbkalender.

Nethertheless I wanted a theme that looked good with dbkalender, so I used the backgrounds from dbKalendar for a consistent look.

I also used the "add" and "delete" button from TooDoo. After all this copying I added my python code, although it is not the best, it just works.
