Komparator is an application that searches and synchronizes two directories. more>>
Komparator is an application that searches and synchronizes two directories. Komparator project discovers duplicate, newer or missing files and empty folders.
It works on local and some network / kioslave protocol folders (like smb:/ and media:/).
It is still in an early stage; please try on test directories first.
Main features:
- ftp et alii supported (might still be buggy!).
- Keyboard shortcuts (popup menus didnt work, unfortunately) fixed.
- Drag & drop missing / newer files from left to right side & vice versa.
- Special characters in URLs fixed.
- Cancel button isnt locked any more if md5-summing / binary comparing remote files.
- Status bar including progress of kompare and about / help button.
- Source code cleanups.
- GUI cleanups.
- Resize list view columns to original width.
- Binary comparison wont store the complete file in RAM any more.
- First documentation attempt.
Enhancements:
- Filters to display only specific files
- Regex that the file name may not contain
- In-/Exclude hidden items

Optimus OLED Keyboard Linux Driver 0.1.0
Optimus OLED Keyboard Linux Driver project is intended to provide a generic linux driver for OLED-based hardware. more>>
Optimus OLED Keyboard Linux Driver project is intended to provide a generic linux driver for OLED-based hardware made by Art. Lebedev Studio.
The current goal is to support the Optimus Mini Three keyboard.
Main features:
- Uses libusb to communicate with device (no specific kernel driver needed)
- As the kernel-provided module for pl2303 didnt work in our case, we recoded the driver with libusb
- Uses libpng to read PNG images, and display them
- Detects when a button is pressed
- Implements OLED_PROTOCOL_SET_IMAGE, OLED_PROTOCOL_POWER_ON, OLED_PROTOCOL_POWER_OFF, OLED_PROTOCOL_SHOW_OLED, OLED_PROTOCOL_GET_IDCODE, OLED_PROTOCOL_SET_IDCODE, OLED_PROTOCOL_SET_BRIGHTNESS.
- Support for more than one OLED Mini Three connected to the same computer
- All USB code is in a static library
Enhancements:
- One of the most annoying bugs (auto-switch-off of the key display after five seconds) has been fixed.
- Functions similar to the ones provided by the original Win32 library for image color settings are also available, allowing you to set color temperature and gamma.
- Theres better support for input, using threads as libusb only provides a blocking way to read data (or some bytes are missed).

GTKYahoo 0.18.2
GTKYahoo is a GPLd GTK+ based yahoo pager client for unix. more>>
GTKYahoo is a GPLd GTK+ based yahoo pager client for unix. I wrote this for a couple of reasons - hating windows, wanting to learn GTK+, and because the Java client is highly irritating and seems extremely buggy. (I.e. try resizing a chat window)
The current version works without any problem till now. New features and improvements are being added constantly. Take a look at the ChangeLog for more details.
GTKYahoo has a number of features not available in the Windows or Java versions of the pager, including an auto-reply (answering machine) feature and automatic forwarding of incoming messages via email.
Main features:
- Refreshing the Address Book data now refreshes the friends list (in case anyones real name has changed!)
- Now gtkyahoo re-links if libyahoo.a has changed (finally!)
- All status messages will use real names if real names are enabled
- If youre chatting with a non-friend and youre ingoring messages from non-friends, you will NOT ignore replies to the non-friend youre chatting with!
- Buddy statuses now enclosed in ()s as with Win32 client
- Added lots of keyboard shortcuts to menus
- Now the Get Credentials menu item is disabled upon login
- Added loads of keyboard shortcuts to the menu items
- Now **you** are listed in the Friends list a la the Win32 client
- You can now right-click on your name in the main window and change your status
- All the possible statuses are now settable from keyboard shortcuts
- Bug fixes in the new way the friends CTree is built
- Custom status window is now modal
- Fixed bug where custom status messages with commas in them caused problems
- Now the libyahoo Authors are listed in the About box too
- Now your own status changes are announced in each of your chat windows (like the Win32 client)

FlexPlaylist for Noatun 0.4.9
FlexPlaylist is an attempt to create a playlist for Noatun. more>>
FlexPlaylist project can create a playlist for Noatun that suits users used to WinAmp XMMS style playlists.
Many people just dont use Noatun because they dont like the playlists and thus I decided to make my own one.
Main features:
- Choose own Font and Size instead of KDE-defaults
- Optionally can hide menubar, list-header, statusbar and toolbar to save space
- Show icon in first column
- Context-sensitive menu (also known as rightclick popupmenu) for common actions
- Use extended m3u playlistformat as native format instead of slower xml (itll still be able to load xml-playlists)
- Configurable keyboard-shortcuts for most actions
- Use alternating colors in listview (as seen in kmail and other kde-applications)
- Statusbar showing playtime of currently played title, overall playlist time and no. of playlist items
- Optional show some play controls in the statusbar
- Dockmode, user chooses the window to dock to
- "Jump to" dialog that lets you easily find files in huge playlists
- Autoresize columns, time takes as much space as needed, title column takes the rest
- Ignores files that cant be played by Noatun when trying to add them to the list
Enhancements:
- This release uses a more natural order when adding folders recursively (it dives into sub-folders before adding files from the current folder).
- The GUI uses standard icons for player controls in the status bar, and draws player controls in the status bar using drawing functions provided by the current KDE/Qt style.
- There are also some minor packaging changes (header checks and Debian packaging support).

AntTweakBar 1.03
AntTweakBar allows programmers to quickly add a light and intuitive graphical user interface into graphic programs. more>>
AntTweakBar allows programmers to quickly add a light and intuitive graphical user interface into graphic programs to interactively tweak them. AntTweakBar is a small and easy to use library that can be readily integrated into OpenGL and DirectX applications.
Program variables can be linked to a graphical control that allows users to modify them. Thus, parameters exposed by programmers can be easily modified. They are displayed into the graphical application through one or more embeded windows called tweak bars.
Design and integration:
The library is designed to minimize programmer work while offering a fast, clean, intuitive and non-invasive graphical interface. For instance, numerical values are automatically mapped to a RotoSlider control for rapid editing.
It is composed of few functions. Common variables like booleans, integers, floats and enums can be directly mapped to a graphic control through pointers or callback functions. Additionnal editing informations like min and max values can be provided. Keyboard shortcuts can also be associated to controls and an help window which summurizes these shortcuts can be displayed. Programmers are not required to design the graphical interface by providing coordinates or by using a visual UI editor. Controls are automatically organized following an optional given hierarchy. In most cases, only one line of code is needed to add a new variable to a tweak bar.
The AntTweakBar library mainly targets graphical programs that need an easy way to tweak parameters and see the result in real-time like 3D demos, light inline game editors, small 3D applications, prototypes, debug facilities of weighter graphical programs, etc.
While the library itself is written in C++, its programming interface is a C interface, and then it can be directly integrated in any C++ or C program.
It has been designed with performance in mind. Embeded in a typical 3D application, its rendering time is almost insignificant. Bars can also be iconified to fully minimize their rendering time.
Enhancements:
- The medium font is antialiased.
- The code now compiles on 64-bit x86 platforms.
- A problem which occurred if the library was initialized or uninitialized more than once was fixed.
- Some other minor fixes were done.

KMouth 1.1.0
KMouth is a KDE program which enables persons that cannot speak to let their computer speak. more>>
KMouth is a KDE program which enables persons that cannot speak to let their computer speak, e.g. mutal people or people who have lost their voice.
Currently KMouth has an input field into which the user can type the phrases he wants to hear. Additionally the program contains a history of spoken phrases, a phrase book and word completion.
The user can select phrases from the history which he wants to be re-spoken or he can decide to put often used phrases into the phrases, so that they can be spoken with only few mouse clicks.
KMouth itself does not contain a speech synthesizer. Instead it assumes that a speech synthesizer is available in the system. Currently it either uses any shell command specified by the user or the the text-to-speech interface of KTTSD. (KTTSD, the KDE Text-To-Speech Daemon, a plug-in based KDE project that wants to provide both a standard text-to-speech interface for KDE applications and a simple-to-use configuration dialog for the user.)
Main features:
- An edit field into which you can type phrases you want to hear
- Word completion
- A history of spoken sentences from which you can select phrases which you want to be re-spoken
- A phrase book from which you can select regularly used phrases. The edit dialog for the phrase book allows you to:
- Add, edit or delete phrases and sub-phrase-books
- Assign keyboard shortcuts for phrases
- Import and export phrases and sub-phrase-books
- Import sub-phrase-books from a collection of standard-phrase books
- A configuration dialog which allows you to specify:
- The command for speaking texts
- The method of sending the text to the command (parameter or standard input)
- The character encoding for the text
- KMouth is licensed under the GNU General Public License.
