Klicker project is a KDE/QT based metronome that supports from 30 to 208 beats per minute, duple, tuple, and quartal time, and it also has DCOP interfaces for interprocess control.

And ive read comment about too many buttons... Ive searched along in kde-apps and i found this app http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=41272
So ive decided to take the best from those kommander script to realize a more "feeling" and clean gui.. I would like to thanx all this guys and the script code..hope i can help to contribuite in adding-code for future kommander interfaces..
It could be more improved... like multiple files converted... and a clean "map-format" ...because now is in a little bit of a mess...

Kickarts is a simple Kicker (KDE Panel) applet to control the aRts sound server.
It has basically the same features as the commandline program artshell.
It is useful for quickly suspending or terminating the sound server before using an app without an arts output.
Enhancements:
- Fixed a few bugs
- New option to "notify when an error occurs"
- The update delay for the status check loop can now be specified
- Status icons (stopped, suspended and started) are now pngs
- French translation

More generally, it is intended to work with window managers that use the concept of "large desktops" instead of "multiple virtual desktops" as kwin does exclusively.
Technically, it is a matter of respecting window managers standards as defined by EWMH (http://standards.freedesktop.org/wm-spec/wm-spec-1.4.html), using the facilities already provided by KDE.
The code is based on the minipager applet taken from kdebase-3.5.4.
To install the package, follow the generic instructions found in the INSTALL file. Generally, you will want to install it in your KDE directory, using:
./configure --prefix=kde-config --prefix
make
make install
You will likely have to use superuser rights to execute the last make install.
(Alternatively, you may choose to install in a different directory, using for example:
./configure --prefix=/opt/kicker-compiz
make
make install
For this to work, you will need to tell KDE about the new prefix, by ensuring that KDEDIRS contains it, e.g. export KDEDIRS=/opt/kicker-compiz:/usr and then restart KDE.)
Once it is installed, use the kicker dialog to add a new applet, and the pager will appear in the list.
The code should soon be hosted somewhere in the KDE svn, hopefully to be merged in one of the next releases.

- pager has the good size, displays windows correctly
- current viewport is highlighted
- click to switch to another viewport
- Known buggy or can be improved:
- Window drag&drop doesnt work reliably
- Aspect ratio is not respected when using kicker is vertical

Kicker Pager provides a desktop overview of your KDE virtual desktops. It aims to provide a more fully featured pager for the default Kicker panel.

The `configure shell script attempts to guess correct values for various system-dependent variables used during compilation. It uses those values to create a `Makefile in each directory of the package.

It may also create one or more `.h files containing system-dependent definitions.

Finally, it creates a shell script `config.status that you can run in the future to recreate the current configuration, a file `config.cache that saves the results of its tests to speed up reconfiguring, and a file `config.log containing compiler output (useful mainly for debugging `configure).

If you need to do unusual things to compile the package, please try to figure out how `configure could check whether to do them, and mail diffs or instructions to the address given in the `README so they can be considered for the next release.

If at some point `config.cache contains results you dont want to keep, you may remove or edit it.

The file `configure.in is used to create `configure by a program called `autoconf. You only need `configure.in if you want to change it or regenerate `configure using a newer version of `autoconf.

The simplest way to compile this package is:

1. `cd to the directory containing the packages source code and type `./configure to configure the package for your system.

If youre using `csh on an old version of System V, you might need to type `sh ./configure instead to prevent `csh from trying to execute
`configure itself.

Running `configure takes a while. While running, it prints some messages telling which features it is checking for.

2. Type `make to compile the package.

3. Type `make install to install the programs and any data files and documentation.

4. You can remove the program binaries and object files from the source code directory by typing `make clean.

KDE Network Mapper is a network discovery, probing, and scanning tool. It is a KDE GUI for nmap.
Individual hosts or entire subnets can be scanned simultaneously, and the results are shown in the interface as queries finish, so the user neednt wait for the entire scan to finish.

xmms-kde is a MP3 player integrated into the KDE panel.
It can also be used to control XMMS and Noatun from the panel.

KDE Personal Wiki engine for KDE, made for only personal use. Consider it a replacemente of KNotes and such apps.

You can create/remove pages, links between pages are automatically created.
