Just Another Port Scanner (JAPS) is an easy to use, bare-bones TCP port scanner. JAPS requires the GTK+ library to run. I created JAPS because I felt it would be a fun project and I wanted to learn GTK+ programming basics.

To compile an install JAPS just type make.

madlibs engine project is a MadLibs clone.

The madlibs engine is a tiny engine for MadLibs-like interactive stories. Basically, you enter different words of a certain part of speech.

The program pastes them into a story text, creating weird, funny, or stupid results.

It runs on anything from a line printer to an xterm.

SkAdsense SuperKaramba theme will display the number of clicks, and earnings from your google adsense account for today, and for the current month to date.

There are also 5 other "pages", which display graphs showing various performance measures for the month. If you hover your mouse over the graph, the theme will display the data for the date you are hovering over in a tooltip.

Use the configure menu to enter your adsense username (email address) and password, and youre away.

Apache Incubator project is the entry path into The Apache Software Foundation (ASF) for projects and codebases wishing to become part of the Foundations efforts.

All code donations from external organisations and existing external projects wishing to join Apache enter through the Incubator.

aterr is an open source threaded forum system; allowing registered visitors to express their opinions, discuss topics, and debate with other visitors.
A threaded forum system differs from regular, flat forum systems in that once posted, a thread can fork, allowing visitors to reply directly to other posts.
aterr project also provides a customisable permissions system, the ability to nest forums, and moderation tools.

- Permissions - Creating private forums is simple and powerful with the permissions system.
- Simple yet powerful administration panel - The administration panel has two modes, simple and advanced. Simple allows for fast creation of forums, advanced allows fine-tuning of user permissions.
- Nested forums - Creating sub forums is easy.
- Simple install script - Just enter the database information and your desired username/password and aterr will be installed.
- Approval of posts - All posts made to a forum can be optionally pre-moderated (they must be approved by a moderator before they are displayed to others).
- Moving posts & threads - Whole threads, or individual posts and their followups can be moved to other forums.
- Stickies - Stickies can be created; a thread which is stuck appears at the top of the forum.
- Locked threads - A thread can be locked, preventing any replies from being made.
- Report posts - Posts can be reported to moderators, reported posts show up differently to moderators who can take action based on the report.

COMMANDLINE OPTIONS

Here are the commandline options:

srm [-d] [-f] [-l] [-l] [-v] [-z] file [file] [another file] [etc.]
sfill [-i] [-I] [-f] [-l] [-l] [-v] [-z] target-directory
sswap [-f] [-l] [-l] [-v] [-z] /dev/of_swap_filesystem
smem [-f] [-l] [-l] [-v]

The -s options are depricated now, and will be ignored.

-d dont delete the dot special files "." and ".." on the
commandline (only srm)
-i wipe only free inode space, not free disk space on the filesystem
(only sfill)
-I wipe only free disk space, not free inode space on the filesystem
(only sfill)
-f fast writes without O_SYNC and sync() between writes. Much faster
but less secure.
-l lessens the security. Only one random plus one pass with 0xff are
written.
-l a seconds time as parameter switches into the insecurest mode,
it overwrites the file only once with 0xff.
-v turn verbose mode on.
-z last wipe mode writes zeros instead of random data
file file to delete. Wildcards are of course allowed.
For unix: you need write permissions. For msdos: It may be hidden,
system, readonly etc. we dont care.
target-directory target is a directory in the filesystem to write to.
swap_filesystem your swap filesystem. Unmount it first!!
only tested on linux

Options may be applied like "-lfv", "-l -f -v" or a mix.

Note: If you use a gnu-compactible linux, you can use the patch rm.diff included in the package to put the features from srm into your normal rm. Just enter your fileutils-3.16 directory, type "patch < rm.diff" and then "make". You need at least one -s switch to activate (1 overwrite). Note that -sss is needed for full security.

NOTE:

For the linux kernel module, you just have to do "insmod sdel-mod" to load the module. After that, all files, which are deleted by any program are then wiped once before the space is marked as free.
