Super Methane Brothers is an arcade game where you have to: Trap baddies in a gas cloud. Suck into your gas gun. Throw against a wall to destroy them.
Game Controls:
Press Fire to start. Use "Player One" Fire for single player mode. Use "Player Two" Fire for two player mode.
You will then be prompted to input the player names. Use the keyboard to type in the name with a maximum of four characters. Press Return when you have finished.
The game will start.
Use the keyboard to move the player (See below for keys). Hold down the Jump higher. Use in combination with the Left and Right keys for directional jumping
Tap Fire to fire gas from the gun.
When a baddie is within a certain range from the players gun, hold Fire to suck a trapped baddie into the gun.
Release Fire to throw the trapped baddie from the gun.
Keyboard - Player One:
Cursor key Left / Right to move left and right
Cursor key Up to jump.
Cursor key Down to move down (Only used with the wings "Power Up")
Control key (CTRL) - Fire.

Spong is a simple systems and network monitoring package. It does not compete with Tivoli, OpenView, UniCenter, or any other commercial packages.
It is not SNMP based, it communcates via simple TCP based messages. It is written in Perl. It can currently run on every major Unix and Unix-like operating systems.

jwhois provides an Internet Whois client with support for Whois, Rwhois, and HTTP.
jwhois is an Internet Whois client that contains an extensible configuration file, which defines its operation. The client supports queries to foreign hosts, either through the RFC 954 - NICNAME/WHOIS protocol, the RFC 2167 - Referral Whois 1.5 protocol, or HTTP using an external browser.
Upon execution, it searches through its configuration to find the most specific whois server to query. Depending upon the reply from that whois server, it can assume the query was successfull and display the result to the user, or optionally redirect the query to another server to find more specific information.
The configuration file is highly customizable and makes heavy use of regular expressions.
When making a query, JWHOIS looks at the @option{whois-servers} block to determine which host to send the query to. The option @option{type} can be set to change between two different kinds of matching; @option{cidr} or @option{regex}.
JWHOIS implements support for maintaining a cache of Whois data received from Whois servers. This is NOT enabled by default but has to be compiled into the client specifically. The design is such that a central database is maintained by the client and because all users should have access to that database, the program must have the set-group-on-execution bit set and the database must be both read and writable by the group.
The configuration options available are CACHEFILE and CACHEEXPIRE which sets the database filename and the expire time for cached object. When an object expires from the cache, it is reloaded from the Whois server the next time it is requested. The expire time is measured in hours.

Support for other window managers wont be hard to add, but at the moment it WONT work
with any other window manager.

Fast Genetic Algorithm is a simple yet powerful implementation of a general genetic algorithm, and provides many types of crossover and selection procedures.
It is suitable to solve mathematical problems such as combinatorical optimization ones, as well as to build artificial life simulations.
Written in C++, the library is released under the terms of the GNU Lesser General Public License, and its easy to incorporate in other applications.
Further improvements include parallelization of the algorithm in multi-processor environments and general performance optimizations.
You can download the current development snapshot, which is a working but not fully tested version of the library.

- Dynamic arrays were fixed to compile even on non-C99 compilers (like MSVC).
- A switch to choose whether to preserve the fittest individual across generations was added.

It can also create new albums, set photo notes (which are printed on the backs of photos) and download photos.
