php-residence is designed to manage weekly or daily rental of house apartments or small hotel rooms. php-residence uses a MySQL or PostgreSQL database as a backend. Reservations can be assigned to an apartment automatically with user-defined rules.

The QDS library allows Qt applications to access features provided in common desktop APIs in a portable way, without requiring dependencies on any desktop platform library.
This is especially useful for applications targeting the Unix desktops, because Qt/X11 is very generic and only provides features it can implement on all sub platforms. All library code is licenced under 2-clause BSD licence.
Service implementations are loaded from plugins which link to the respective desktop libraries. The plugin to use can be specified on the applications commandline, in the QDS configuration file or QDS can try to autodetect the currently running platform.

OggConvert is a small Gnome utility that uses GStreamer to convert media files to the licence-free Theora and Vorbis formats.
Main features:
- Its painfully easy to use: drag a file onto the source bar (or use the file chooser) and hit convert. Of course, you can also change the quality settings and the output filename if you like.
- It uses GStreamer, so it can convert (almost) any file which Totem can play

Festival offers a general framework for building speech synthesis systems as well as including examples of various modules. As a whole it offers full text to speech through a number APIs: from shell level, though a Scheme command interpreter, as a C++ library, from Java, and an Emacs interface.
This project is multi-lingual (currently English (British and American), and Spanish) though English is the most advanced. Other groups release new languages for the system. And full tools and documentation for build new voices are available through Carnegie Mellons FestVox project (http://festvox.org)
The system is written in C++ and uses the Edinburgh Speech Tools Library for low level architecture and has a Scheme (SIOD) based command interpreter for control. Documentation is given in the FSF texinfo format which can generate, a printed manual, info files and HTML.

Gestshin is a personnal accounting application running on a web server and released under the GPL licence. Gestshin project is coded in PHP with a MySql Database.
The interface is written in XHTML 1.0 strict to be conform to W3C. Gestshin can manage multiple accounts, currencies and users. Currently, he is writting in English and French since the release 0.2.
The developpement of Gestshin is in progress. Currently, the last release is the 0.2. Gestshin is created since 03 August 2005.
