IPCAD stands for IP Cisco Accounting Daemon. It runs in background, listens traffic on the specified interfaces, and records the traffic for later retrieval and analysis. IPCAD can use raw BPF devices, PCAP library, divert, tee or Linux iptables ULOG & IPQ packet sources to capture the packets.

IPCAD can export gathered information using rsh or NetFlow.

crip is a terminal-based ripper/encoder/tagger tool for creating Ogg Vorbis/FLAC/MP3 files under UNIX/Linux. It is well-suited for anyone (especially the perfectionist) who seeks to make a lot of files from CDs and have them all properly labeled and professional-quality with a minimum of hassle and yet still have flexibility and full control over everything. Current versions of crip only support Ogg Vorbis and FLAC. If you want to encode MP3 files you should use crip-1.0.
I am constantly refining the process of creating perfect music files to be as automated as possible while still leaving the user with control over as much as possible. This script is special because it is the only one that I know that is capable of doing group vorbisgain/replaygain and/or normalization (adjust the volume to be as loud as possible without clipping/distortion) and group labelling/tagging, which makes it easy to allow a group of tracks to be treated as one piece. It can also trim off the silence at the beginning and end of these tracks/groups.
First the script fetches the CDDB info off the internet. Then it prompts you for the grouping of the tracks. This is important because it will treat each group of tracks as one piece, label and vorbisgain/replaygain and/or normalize them (using the volume gain/peak of that group). Normalization is now obsolete with the creation of vorbisgain (replaygain) utilities, so I have that turned off by default and itll run vorbisgain instead.
You can, of course, have each track be a group by itself (such as what youd want to do with most pop CDs). But since Ive also ripped a lot of Classical music I found it necessary to group tracks differently fairly often.
Then it will prompt you for the Artist and Album info (which is already defaulted to what is pulled from CDDB). Afterwards it will prompt you for a filename for each track you selected. Again this field is defaulted to what it suspects that youd want. For most pop CDs all I have to do is hit enter here because the filename is almost always exactly what Id want.
It will then prompt you that its ready to rip. From here everything is automated, so hit return and it usually finishes in about an hour. The script calls cdparanoia to rip the tracks, and then oggenc/flac/lame to encode them. It also labels the files with info appropriately, including the CDDB CD DiscID number (so you will always have a CD reference hex-number inside your OGG/FLAC/MP3 file).
Ive looked into other scripts out there that do something similar to this script, but decided to write my own since I couldnt find one that groups tracks and trims silence. I used this script to rip and encode my collection of over 200 Bach CDs, as well as a bunch of other Classical and non-Classical CDs very easily.

ProShield is a security program for Debian Linux. Regular use is recommended.
Main features:
- Helps you backup your system weekly.
- Checks for extra root accounts.
- Checks account & password files for correct permissions.
- Makes sure a few security-hazardous packages are not installed.
- Checks for a packet sniffer.
- Removes unneeded packages from the local package archive.
- Checks for new software releases, in order to see if installed software is reasonably up to date. Smart-suggestion to upgrade if an important package is released.
- Checks to see if apt is fetching unnecessary information when checking for software updates.

- Checks to make sure the user isnt logged into the system (GUI) as root.

oftpd provides yet another anonymous FTP server.
oftpd is designed to be as secure as an anonymous FTP server can possibly be.
It runs as non-root for most of the time, and uses the Unix chroot() command to hide most of the systems directories from external users--they cannot change into them even if the server is totally compromised.
It also contains its own directory-change and directory-listing code (most FTP servers execute the system "ls" command to list files).

XNotesPlus project is a full-featured personal information manager.
It includes an Address Manager, Todo Manager, Calendar Manager, and an extensive notes system, with features such as email, searching text, spell checking text, printing, audio/visual alarms, date and calendar inserts, categorization by colored projects, etc.
It also interfaces with PalmOS-based handheld devices, allowing backups and syncing of backups, syncing XNotes to the Pilot and downloading Pilot Memos into XNotes, syncing between the XNotesPlus Address Manager, Todo Manager, and Calendar Manager. Install, fetch, delete, and list options are also available for managing your Pilot.

- Enable product authors to register stylesheets with their product installers without having to resort to override either header.pt or ploneCustom.css creating potential conflicts with other products.
- Enable more componentialization of the stylesheets provided with Plone (and other products) without having to increase the number of http requests for a Plone page.
- Enable condition checking on stylesheets. Great for variable look-and-feel for groups/roles/folders/departments/content-types/etc
- Enable inline dynamic stylesheets. For those style rules that should vary for each request. Mainly used for things like header-bar- backgroundimages, department colors etc.
- Enable developers to activate/deactivate their styles in a simpler way
- Enable compression to safe bandwidth and download time
