Lumiere is a GNOME frontend to libxine from the xine project. It has the looks of XMMS or Winamp and integrates seemlessly with the Gnome Desktop.

Lumiere depends on libxine to play medias, it will play only what is supported by your libxine (a default installation should handle most media types).
Lumiere is not aggressive with your computer, it needs little resources (if you use GNOME) and will not keep a hand on your audia or video hardware when not playing.

LiteSQL is a C++ library that integrates C++ objects tightly to relational database and thus provides an object persistence layer.

Gip provides system administrators with tools for IP address based calculations. For example, an administrator who needs to find out which IP prefix length equals the IP netmask 255.255.240.0, just types in the mask and gets the prefix length presented. But many more advanced calculations can be made.

Gip can convert an address range into a list of prefix lengths. It can also split subnets using a given IP netmask or IP prefix length. Many more calculations are possible.

fbnews is a RSS/RDF news fetcher for fluxbox. The content of RSS is filled in a submenu of fluxbox. You can then read the news items with your favorite browser.
