Filler in Java 1.02
Filler in Java project is a graphical game where you occupy coloured hexes by changing colours. more>>
Filler in Java project is a graphical game where you occupy coloured hexes by changing colours.
Its strengths are better computer players, internationalisability, and cross-platform deployability.
Installing
In the top directory (same directory as this file), run make. That will build a jar file for you. You then need to be super-user (root), and run make install. If you cant be super-user, just do java -jar filler.jar instead.
The executable program is called filler, and will be installed in /usr/local/bin. Since release 1.01, filler will use your shell variable LANG to set the language that it runs in.
Enhancements:
- Added inc to other directory. This is the code header you include to say that the code is released under GPL.
- Removed resources_de.properties, resources_fr.properties, as I wrote them and they were pretty bad.
- Added sortByRandom() to PlayerWrappers.
- Added build.xml to other. This is for use with ant.
- Cleaned up some access privileges on some fields, cleaned up some bad identifiers.
- Added Kris Verbeecks RemotePlayer.

Asterisk-Java 0.3
Asterisk-Java provides a set of Java classes that allow you to easily build Java applications. more>>
The Asterisk-Java package consists of a set of Java classes that allow you to easily build Java applications that interact with an Asterisk PBX Server. Asterisk-java supports both interfaces that Asterisk provides for this scenario, The FastAGI protocol and the Manager API.
Asterisk-Java is compatible with Asterisk 1.0 and 1.2. The FastAGI implementation supports all commands currently available from Asterisk.
The Manager API implementation supports receiving events from the Asterisk server (e.g. call progess, registered peers, channel state) and sending actions to Asterisk (e.g. originate call, agent login/logoff, start/stop voice recording).
Enhancements:
- This release has full support for Asterisk 1.4 and the new Live API (org.asteriskjava.live).
- The Live API takes care of the low-level action and event handling of the Manager API, and offers an intuitive API for Java developers.
- Asterisk-Java takes advantage of the features of Java 5.0, and therefore requires a Java Virtual Machine of at least version 1.5.0.

OpenGL for Java, formerly known as GL4Java, supports Java with a native OpenGL mapping.
The OS native OpenGL functionality is avaiable from Java for many OS: Linux/GNU+XFree86, Unix/X11, MacOS, Win32.
Enhancements:
- removed the hack (which I put in sometime ago to get VooDoo3 working) that forced gl4java to choose a double buffered pixel format (the demos that used single buffer did not work) (thanks JYB)
- fixed the tessdemo and tesswind applets (thanks JYB).

Java-GNOME is a set of Java bindings for GNOME and GTK libraries, so GNOME applications can be written in Java. more>>
Java-GNOME is a set of Java bindings for GNOME and GTK libraries, so GNOME applications can be written in Java.
Java-GNOME is implemented as a JNI layer that delegates the Java calls out to the underlying C library.
Installation:
The simplest way to compile this package is:
1. `cd to the directory containing the packages source code and type `./configure to configure the package for your system. If youre using `csh on an old version of System V, you might need to type `sh ./configure instead to prevent `csh from trying to execute `configure itself.
Running `configure takes awhile. While running, it prints some messages telling which features it is checking for.
2. Type `make to compile the package.
3. Optionally, type `make check to run any self-tests that come with the package.
4. Type `make install to install the programs and any data files and documentation.
5. You can remove the program binaries and object files from the source code directory by typing `make clean. To also remove the files that `configure created (so you can compile the package for a different kind of computer), type `make distclean. There is also a `make maintainer-clean target, but that is intended mainly for the packages developers. If you use it, you may have to get all sorts of other programs in order to regenerate files that came with the distribution.

Open Java Console 1.6
Open Java Console is an extension which provides the ability to open the Java Console in Firefox. more>>
Open Java Console is an extension which provides the ability to open the Java Console in Firefox.
This extension provides an option on the Tools menu that opens the Java Console, and a toolbar button in the JavaScript Console that also allows the console to be opened. The extension also adds the keystroke Ctrl+Shift+J to spawn the console from the keyboard, from either a browser window or the JavaScript Console.
New features in 1.0 include the addition of two preferences:
A preference for logging a message to the JavaScript Console whenever the Java Console is triggered
A preference for showing any exceptions generated by the browser when starting the Java Console
Mozilla 1.X has this feature, but Firefox does not, making access to the console difficult unless this extension is used.
When the Console^2 extension is installed, the Ctrl+Shift+J keystroke will trigger the Error Console instead of the Java Console from a browser window. Ctrl+Shift+J will still work from the Error Console.
The following languages have been added to the 1.6 release: Hungarian and Dutch.
