UbuntuTrinux seeks to integrate elements (and code, where appropriate) of Trinux with the Debian/Ubuntu mkinitramfs infrastructure to allow easy development and packaging Ubuntu binary (and ultimately package and repository) compatible ramdisk distributions using recent 2.6.x kernels. As before, the most common use is network security monitoring and analysis.

Trinux: A Linux Security Toolkit was a ramdisk-based Linux distribution that was under active development from 1998-2003.

Drugref provides a free pharmaceutical reference information database and infrastructure.

Drugref is a collaborative effort to create and maintain a database of pharmaceutical reference information, tagged by language, country, and reference source.

A Web interface written in PHP4 allows the community of health professionals to maintain and review content.

The database structure, implemented in PostgreSQL, is designed to facilitate automated decision support.

"Tagging" allows one to import information from any source in parallel, thus allowing drugref to work as a generic interface to any kind of (comercially or freely) available drug reference information.

NagVis is a visualization addon for the well known network managment system Nagios.

NagVis can be used to visualize Nagios Data, e.g. to display IT processes like a mail system or a network infrastructure.

The Freiburg project is an infrastructure to replace shared libraries with a client/server interface. This system converts a shared library into a "service" using Unix or inet domain sockets for communication.
The "service" will be usable by any programming language without additional C programming requirements. An application is a composition of multiple services using an event-based message bus for communication.
A service can reside locally or remotely using the "client" or the inetd super-server for startup.

IRCM is a webbased Incident Registration and Configuration Management tool that supports helpdesk operations in an ICT-environment.
With IRCM, helpdesk agents can register and dispatch service calls. These calls can be related to agents, customers, SLA-defined activities, devices, incoming or outgoing mail and timers. Service levels are guarded depending on call type, call status and service window.
The customers infrastructure is managed in the configuration management module, providing full 2D-tracing through related devices.
IRCM is protected by GNU/GPL and is available for download on this site.
IRCM supports multiple customers, helpdesks, Service Level Agreements, mailboxes etc in one database. If multiple databases are used (e.g. to separate customer data) the user can switch dynamically between databases within the browser window.
For configuration management, a black-box approach is used. This maximizes flexibility in modelling the customer infrastructure. The only predefined (system) entity is the user, all other entities and their properties are defined per customer. Hierarchical relations between configuration items can be displayed in a 2D overview.
A valuable aspect of IRCM is that you dont have to use the features summed up here. If you want to use the Configuration Management module as an address book and want Incident Registration to be a todo list, you wont be punished with overhead.

libnfnetlink is the low-level library for netfilter related kernel and userspace communication.
It provides a generic messaging infrastructure for in-kernel netfilter subsystems (such as nfnetlink_log, nfnetlink_queue, nfnetlink_conntrack) and their respective users and/or management tools in userspace.
This library is not meant as a public API for application developers. It is only used by other netfilter.org projects, such as libnetfilter_log, libnetfilter_queue or libnetfilter_conntrack.
Enhancements:
- This release fixes numerous bugs and adds support for top-level APIs that are required by other pieces of the netfilter userspace world, such as libnetfilter_conntrack.

BlueCoat Control Center allows people with BlueCoat proxies to monitor their proxy infrastructure. BlueCoat Control Center utilizes Tcl, MySQL and PHP.

Advanced URLs are polled, and the data is presented back through PHP. Syslog and real-time access log data can also be used to show proxy utilization and alerts.
