cintoo Messages 1.0 Alpha1

cintoo Messages is a framework to make internationalization easier for Java applications. more>>
cintoo Messages is a framework to make internationalization easier for Java applications. cintoo Messages framework supports locales for threads, and bundles can be associated with different packages.

This allows the usage of different bundles for different parts of the application, such as plugins, an installer, or a logging system. Bundles can be managed and associated with packages without any changes in the code.

This makes bundle management and refactoring much easier than with other solutions. cintoo Messages supports global locales for client applications written in Swing or SWT and thread-local ones for serverside Web applications.

Example:

Messages.setBundle("myBundle", "only.for.this.package");
...
Messages.setThreadLocale(new Locale("en", ""));
...
Messages.format(this, "myKey");

The module Locale::Messages is a wrapper around the interface to message translation according to the Uniforum approach that is for example used in GNU gettext and Suns Solaris. It is intended to allow Locale::Messages(3) to switch between different implementations of the lower level libraries but this is not yet implemented.

Normally you should not use this module directly, but the high level interface Locale::TextDomain(3) that provides a much simpler interface. This description is therefore deliberately kept brief. Please refer to the GNU gettext documentation available at http://www.gnu.org/manual/gettext/ for in-depth and background information on the topic.
The lower level module Locale::gettext_pp(3) provides the Perl implementation of gettext() and related functions.

Secure Messaging is a Web-based, alternative mail system for sending and receiving messages.

Use secure messaging to send and receive messages from a alternative web-based mail system. Using the secure messaging system no actual mail is transmitted through any 3rd party servers.

Only an optional message notice is sent to the recepient, the user needs to visit the site in order to read the message.

Normal SMTP mail can hit multiple servers and can possibly be read, stored, or changed anywhere within the process.

Setup secure messaging on an SSL enabled website to enhance the privacy even more.

Dream Print Tracking System 1.0.1

Dream Print Tracking System 1.0.1

Dream Print Tracking System is a powerful and user-friendly system for tracking print distribution and circulation. more>>
Dream Print Tracking System is a powerful and user-friendly system for tracking print distribution and circulation.
It uses many principles from customer relationship management (CRM) systems, but in a way specific to print publishers.
The Media Development Loan Fund commissioned Dream based on its experience in working with print publishers in more than 30 countries worldwide, where it provides support to independent media in the form of financing, training and technology.
In many of these countries, print distribution is one of the biggest difficulties independent publishers face because it is tightly controlled. Many countries have print distribution monopolies or cartels, which are either politically tied to the government, corrupt or incompetent.
Dream is a tool for tracking print circulation. In a similar way to customer relationship management (CRM) systems such as Campwares Cream software, Dream allows you to maintain a clear picture of your distribution business based on regularly entered contracts, orders, and shipment information. This is handled primarily through Dreams Report functions. Dream is designed to look and feel like an email application. Its inbox is used for tracking inbound communications such as new customer e-mails and customer phone calls.
Because Dream works with any standard SMTP mail server, it also manages outbound customer communications and keeps records of your responses.
Dream does two things: It is a database that stores all the relevant information you supply about the publications you produce, who distributes, who sells it, and how you connect with these people.
It is also a tool for retrieving and presenting this information in several different ways. It contains utilities for tracking products, promotions, and communications.
Dream handles four types of information:
1. Information about what you produce and the people to whom you provide it. This information is entered on the Options tab of the screen and appears primarily in the menus on the Main tabs screens. One example is a product category in which you describe a periodical you produce.
2. Information about specific products such as books or individual issues of what you produce, specific distributors and specific sellers, and tracking of these items from contract to order to shipment to return.
3. Communications, including records of incoming messages from various sources, outgoing emails to individuals, and newsletters.
4. User information including usernames, passwords, preferences and permissions.
Enhancements:
- Minor bugfixes were made.
- A Russian localization was added.

inline_smtp 0.95

inline_smtp 0.95

The inline_smtp perl script was created to allow filtering of incoming mail. more>>
The inline_smtp perl script was created to allow filtering of incoming mail on a separate server that houses the mailspools without running a full blown MTA. While its possible to configure another MTA, e.g. postfix, to relay all mail to a smart host and do filtering through postfix, the queue can get behind easily, and on a busy host thousands of messages can get queued in a few hours causing delays in delivery from a few minutes to several hours. Because its filtering while redirecting, mail arrives as fast as if it were coming directly to the final mail server because its relayed as the message is received.

inline_smtp works by accepting connections and relaying the conversation to the maildrop host as it takes place, so any 550 messages pass through instantly instead of getting the 550 on the relay server then having to process a bounce, which also fills the queue. inline_smtp understands enough of the smtp protocol to filter on rctp to: addresses and to process the mail body, optionally running it through a filter.

Smarty and MIME message integration is a PHP class library that can send e-mail messages using Smarty templates. more>>
Smarty and MIME message integration is a PHP class library that can send e-mail messages using Smarty templates.

This package can be used to compose and send e-mail messages using Smarty templates.

It wraps around Smarty and MIME message class by Manuel Lemos, and prepares the body and headers of the messages to send.

It can set several message options at once passing an array of options values.

Currently it supports options to define HTML or text message template files, the sender, recipient, bounce and reply names and addresses, whether to send messages in plain text, HTML or both, whether to automatically wrap the message text, message character set, and the bulk precedence header to prevent that notification messages be returned due to temporary delivery errors.

Once the message options are set, the class composes and send message according to the specified option values.

Proxmox Mail Gateway addresses the full spectrum of unwanted e-mail traffic, focusing spam and virus detection. more>>
Proxmox Mail Gateway project addresses the full spectrum of unwanted e-mail traffic, focusing spam and virus detection.
E-mail security begins at the gateway by controlling all incoming and outgoing e-mail messages. Proxmox Mail Gateway addresses the full spectrum of unwanted e-mail traffic, focusing spam and virus detection.

Every single e-mail will be analyzed and gets a spam score assigned. The systems attempt to optimize the efficiency of the rules that are run in terms of minimizing the number of false positives and false negatives.
The flexible architecture combined with the easy-to-use configuration interface safeguards companies against existing and new e-mail threats.
Main features:
- Advanced spam detection
- Virus removal including phising e-mails
- Automatic update of virus signature database
- Automatic installation within minutes
- Support for standard PC / Server hardware (i386)
- SCSI and SCSI raid support
- Secure web based configuration
