iSQL-Viewer is an open-source JDBC 2.x compliant database front end written in Java. It implements across multiple platforms features of the JDBC API. It does everything through a single interface.
iSQL-Viewer works with most database platforms, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, and Informix. iSQL-Viewer provides a variety of tools and features to carry out common database tasks.

With CmosPwd, you can also backup, restore and erase/kill cmos.
AWARD 4.50 have a backdoor, a generic password : AWARD_SW SOYO motherboard have "SY_MB" as master password for Award 4.51. CmosPwd give equivalent passwords for Award BIOS, not original one.

Now theres Java performance on Linux thats as fast as on Windows! IBM developerWorks has released IBMs latest Java port for Linux, the Java 1.1.8 Developer Kit for Linux. This new version, available for free, is a stable, high-performance implementation of Java on Linux.

GCViewer is a Swing-based application that visualizes the verbose garbage collection output generated by the IBM and Sun Java VMs (-verbose:gc/-Xloggc:-flags).
The data can also be exported as CSV for forther processing with a spreadsheet application. Visualizing the data can help when one is tuning the garbage collector, especially the generation sizes and initial heap size.
Main features:
- Sun JDK 1.4/1.5 with the options -Xloggc:< file > [-XX:+PrintGCDetails]
- Sun JDK 1.2.2/1.3.1/1.4 with the option -verbose:gc

GCViewer can also export the data in CSV (comma separated values) format, which may easily be imported into spreadsheet applications for further processing.
GCViewer has been developed with J2SE 1.4.
Enhancements:
- The build scripts were moved from Ant to Maven2.
- The Jar was compiled with Java 1.4.
- Also, support for HP-UX 1.4.1 and 1.4.2 was added.

MirBSD Korn Shell (mksh) is an actively developed successor of pdksh (the Public Domain Korn Shell), aimed at producing a shell good for interactive use, but with primary focus on scripting.
The project is intended to be portable to most *nix-like operating systems as long as theyre not too obscure. mksh incorporates improvements from OpenBSD and Debian, as well as bugfixes and enhancements developed for the MirOS and FreeWRT projects. The emacs command line editing mode is UTF-8 capable.
The shell supports large files, as well as all pdksh and some csh, AT&T ksh, and GNU bash features, is compatible with the Bourne shell (within limits, but you can turn off brace expansion), has no limit on array sizes, and incorporates some other useful builtins and features. While being already fast and small (without losing functionality), flags to make it even smaller can be given at compile time. An interactive shell reads "~/.mkshrc" on startup.
Enhancements:
- Packagers should read the information at http://www.mirbsd.org/mksh.htm#upgrade.
- mksh can now be built on more platforms, such as AIX, and with a lot of vendor compilers (Intel, Sun, IBM, Microsoft, Borland, Digital Mars, HP) in addition to gcc.
- Some constructs from GNU bash are supported.
- The code and build system got cleaned up, fixed, and improved further.
- Large file support on some OSes and POSIX compatibility got better.

OpenVRML provides VRML97 and Classic VRML X3D parsers, a runtime, and an OpenGL renderer as C++ libraries. The renderer is fully separate from the runtime library so that users can also provide their own renderer.

Enhancements: Fixed resolution of the Java virtual machine library for ppc and ppc64.
