Hybrid Share 1.2.0

Hybrid Share 1.2.0

Hybrid Share is a User Friendly Application for Linux, Mac and Windows users, that allow you to Share file. more>>
Hybrid Share is a User Friendly Application for Linux, Mac and Windows users, that allow you to Share file (and Talk) instantly with your friends...

What is Hybrid Share ?

Hybrid Share is a simple (User Friendly) Mono C#/Gtk# Application that allow Mac, Windows and Linux Users To Share Files. The Application is extensible via Plugins, so you can Talk with connected people, check your mailbox or other things that plugins could do.

What do you use if you have to share files with your friends ?

E-Mail or Instant Messaging are the first possible solution, but the E-Mail Size block and the slowing of the IM make this channels bad to share files. The NFS (Network File System) or other system like this, works only between similar system or are a little bit difficoult to configure, the same for ftp server.

So The Solution is Hybrid Share that is Portable and Easy to Use, It isnt the Best Application in The World, but it does a useful work.

What is the Difference with a Normal P2P ?

Hybrid Share has a core of P2P but is more like a traditional IM (Instant Messenger), like GTalk, MSN, Gaim, Adium and so on.... No Network Configuration is needed, Youve only to add your "buddies" (like an IM) and Drag File Into their folders...

IRCD-Hybrid 7.2.3-ita.0.1.1

IRCD-Hybrid 7.2.3-ita.0.1.1

ircd-hybrid is a an Internet Relay Chat daemon. more>>
IRCD-Hybrid project is a an Internet Relay Chat daemon.
Version restrictions:
- If a module is modified before being unloaded, /MODUNLOAD (and therefore /MODRELOAD) may cause a core.
This problem is caused by the behaviour of the OS, which treats shared libraries differently to executables (modifying the ircd binary whilst it is running would also cause a core, but is denied by the OS).
There is no way to fix this at the application level, and fixing the OS to do the right thing is also difficult.
A workaround to avoid coring is possible however. To install new modules, first remove or rename the old module, then copy/move the new file into place. /MODUNLOAD will then work successfully.
Alternatively, running ./configure with the --disable-shared-modules argument will link all the commands statically, losing the advantages of upgrading at runtime, but reducing the chances of accidentally coring your server.
- Solaris stock 32bit stdio is limited to 256 fds. This breaks when using cryptlinks.
- New bug reported in some 64 bit and powerpc (yellowdog linux) code. This bug is actually in gcc itself, the spec says you dont modify a va_list in libc, but gcc does.
The bug manifests itself as immediately coring when anyone types anything on a channel.
You will find a quick work around in contrib until this bug in gcc is fixed.

Ochiba 1.2

Ochiba 1.2

Ochiba is a Web-based image gallery that is a hybrid of traditional more>>
Ochiba is a web-based image gallery written in PHP and uses sqlite.
Ochiba is a hybrid of traditional "photo album" software, such as Gallery or Coppermine, and "image board" software, such as futaba, futallaby, and wakaba.
In addition, it borrows concepts found in sources such as gmail and iPhoto to provide a flexible, keyword/tag based filtering of displayed images which can be used to create on-the-fly "virtual" albums.
Other features include: XHTML/CSS compliance, RSS feeds for image categories, post throttling, IP banning, caching, visual image-based post verification for spam-prevention, and zip file handling (for multiple images in one upload).
Ochiba is released under the GNU General Public License.
The genesis of ochiba arose from my purchase of a camphone. I planned on using it a lot to create a "moblog" or "photoblog". Initially, I used Gallery, as it was software I had already been using and had been mostly pleased with it. However, with this moblog project, some of the design decisions made by Gallery (and most other photo album software) became limiting to me. Primary was the way comments and discussion of pictures were usually relegated to an afterthought. In the case of Gallery, only a little red asterisk indicates that an image has a comment. Even as the owner of a Gallery, sometimes I wouldnt notice a visitor had left a comment until months later.
I wanted something more like what was presented by image board software, where comments and discussion are as important as the image itself. However, I didnt like the requirements for the major image board software (in particular, MySQL for all three, and perl for wakaba). And though I admired the open-posting image board idea, I also wanted to have something only I could post to.
The 3rd converging idea came from gmail, iPhoto, and iTunes smart playlists. They use keyword/label/tag based filtering to organize mail/photos/music, rather than a strict hierarchy. Gallery is limited to albums and nested albums. I wanted more flexibility, to present an image in a variety of contexts, to have more freeform organization.
Enhancements:
- Error reporting when upload size exceeds maximum was improved.
- New CAPTCHAs can now be requested.
- Major CSS issues in IE7 were fixed.

DMAring 0.9

DMAring 0.9

DMAring project is a novel generic network interface card driver architecture. more>>
DMAring project is a novel generic network interface card driver architecture which works in hybrid interrupt-polling mode to deliver superior real-time performance on Linux, Redhat Linux or Linux-RTAI-LXRT (a real-time co-kernel for Linux with user level extension).

Existing Linux drivers are inefficient, they saturate the CPU at a much lower packet rates than the maximum wire line packet rate that is possible. But with this driver, vanilla network cards can be used for high speed packet capturing. This driver improves the packet capturing speed by 7 to 10 times, and the real-time packet delivery response by 500 to 5000 times over existing drivers and alternate approaches (HIP, NAPI, pfring, check the references in the papers for performance comparisons [1, 2, 3]), depending on whether Redhat Linux or RTAI is used. Thus this obviates the need for expensive high capacity hardware, specialized network data acquisition cards and systems (for example from Endace).

This project contain basic source codes, which other developers can use/adapt for their applications, and three published conference papers [1, 2, 3] describes the architecture and establishes its benefits. One of the papers (at SANE 2006) also documents the detailed architecture and provides guidelines to modify any Linux network interface driver (Donald Becker style drivers).

Earlier I had received lot of mail request from networking, network security/monitoring domain people, to get these codes or modified specific network drivers. I am looking forward that some developer will take up this project, churn out driver modifications for the most common net work cards and share with others. I will continue to add other drivers, and libpcap library modifications when I get more time.

Anybody willing to know the issues involved in real-time Linux or looking for real-time networking solutions can take a look at my Masters thesis. I found RTAI with LXRT to be a very tractable, good performance, cheap (free!) real-time Linux option. My thesis contains some useful performance related discussions on this.

Grid Wars 2 is a space shooter arcade game.

Grid Wars2 is basically a PC version of the popular Xbox 360 game, Geometry Wars. Made by Mark Incitti, this release features less special effects compared to the original but also new controls to cater for players who do not own a dual analog joypad.

Your small ship sits in a one-screen grid and vectorized enemies spawn to attack. Use your any-directional gun to stay alive while you rake in points. Along the way a few power-ups will give you a hand, and theres always the emergency screen-clearing bomb you can unleash.

The hybrid option control allows a player to use both mouse and keyboard for ship movement as well as aiming their shots.

SimpleCDR-X 1.3.3

SimpleCDR-X 1.3.3

SimpleCDR-X is a GTK+ based tool for CD writing, mastering, and audio ripping/compression. more>>
SimpleCDR-X was born in mid-June of 2001. It was clear to me that SimpleCDRs interface had limitations that could only be overcome by going to a GUI interface. I then proceeded to look at the various toolkits and then I discovered Glade.
Glade is perhaps one of the best programming utilities that I have found for Linux to date. It the development of a 2200 line interface much easier than it would have been otherwise. If Glade wasnt around I still might just be playing with the various toolkits instead of having a finished product. Glade allowed me to focus on functionality rather than trying to get the interface to look right with straight C code.
SimpleCDR-X like its brother SimpleCDR is a hybrid of C and C++. Most of the external utilities are managed by C++ classes called from the hybrid callbacks.c. The reason that I didnt opt to use GTK-- instead of the hybird was because most everyone already has GTK+, however, not everyone has GTK-- and some dont want to download a 1.5 MB file to compile or dig up the installation CDs.
Main features:
- Disc-At-Once CD copying
- Audio CD copying via cdrecord and CDparanoia or cdda2wav
- Audio CD Mastering
- MP3/OGG import via MADplay, LAME, or OGG123
- Import from CD via CDparanoia or cdda2wav
- Data CD Mastering
- Multi-session CD writing
- Rip tracks to wav
- Rip tracks to MP3/OGG on the fly via Blade Encode, LAME, or oggenc
- GTK+ Interface

System for Internet-Level Knowledge 0.11.1

System for Internet-Level Knowledge 0.11.1

System for Internet-Level Knowledge (SiLK) project is a collection of traffic analysis tools. more>>
System for Internet-Level Knowledge (SiLK) project is a collection of traffic analysis tools developed by the CERT Network Situational Awareness Team (CERT NetSA) to facilitate security analysis of large networks.
The SiLK tool suite supports the efficient collection, storage and analysis of network flow data, enabling network security analysts to rapidly query large historical traffic data sets. SiLK is ideally suited for analyzing traffic on the backbone or border of a large, distributed enterprise or mid-sized ISP.
SiLK consists of two sets of tools: a packing system and analysis suite. The packing system receives Netflow V5 PDUs and converts them into a more space efficient format, recording the packed records into service-specific binary flat files. The analysis suite consists of tools which can read these flat files and then perform various query operations, ranging from per-record filtering to statistical analysis of groups of records. The analysis tools interoperate using pipes, allowing a user to develop a relatively sophisticated query from a simple beginning.
The vast majority of the current code-base is implemented in C, Perl, or Python. This code has been tested on Linux, Solaris, OpenBSD, and Mac OS X, but should be usable with little or no change on other Unix platforms.
System for Internet-Level Knowledge software components are released under the GPL.
Enhancements:
- New scan detection system: rwscan and rwscanquery
- rwscan reads SiLK Flow data and uses a hybrid of Threshold Random Walk and Bayesian Logistic Regression to detect scanning activity. rwscan output textual records describing the scan. If these are inserted into a relational database, rwscanquery can be used to query for the scanning activity. rwscanquery can query Oracle, Postgres, or MySQL databases.
- New tools for IPFIX support
- rwsilk2ipfix converts SiLK Flow records to an IPFIX format.
- rwipfix2silk converts IPFIX flow records to the SiLK format.
- These tools can be used in place of the rwp2yaf2silk script.
- Support for these tools requires that libfixbuf-0.6.0 be installed prior to building SiLK.
- New tools for IP storage
- rwipaexport takes IP addresses from an IP Address Association (IPA) catalog and creates a SiLK IPset, Bag, or Prefix Map (pmap).
- rwipaimport enters the IP addresses from a SiLK IPset, Bag, or Prefix Map into an IPA catalog.
- Support for these tools requires that libipa-0.2.0 be installed prior to building SiLK.
- Additional new tools
- rwsplit divides a SiLK Flow file into smaller files based on the number of flows, bytes, packets, or unique IPs. It also provides the ability to sample the input.
- rwsettool provides the functionality of rwsetintersect and rwsetunion and additional functions such as set difference and sampling of an IPset. The rwsetintersect and rwsetunion tools are deprecated.
- rwsetmember determines if a (textual) IP is a member of an IPset. Determinating this in previous releases of SiLK required filtering the output of rwsetcat or creating an IPset containing a single IP.
- rwpmapcat prints the contents of a Prefix Map (pmap) file.
- rwfilter enhancements and bug fixes
- Allow the the parameter to the --flags-all, --flags-init, and --flags-session switches can be a list of HIGH/MASK pairs separated by commas, e.g., --flags-all=S/S,A/A
- Do not print statistics or create output files when the --dry-run switch is specified.
- Fix a file corruption issue that would occur when processing multiple files if the first input file was not successfully opened: the output file would be generated without a SiLK header.
- Exit with a non-zero exit status if the class, type, or sensor values are invalid.
- Fix a bug in processing the --start-date and --end-date switches when local timezone support was enabled and the local timezone was east of UTC.
- rwbag enhancements and bug fixes
- rwbag now supports creating Bags whose key is the sensor ID, next hop IP, input interface or output interface.
- Allow rwbag to act like UNIX tee(1) by adding the --copy-input switch. This switch sends all SiLK Flow input to the specified file, stream, or named pipe.
- Print errors as human readable text, not error codes
- Fix a bug with releasing memory multiple times when rwbag ran out of memory.
- rwrandomizeip enhancement
- Allow the user to restrict the set of IPs that are modified via two command line arguments: --dont-change-set and --only-change-set. Both switches take an IPset; the first switch prevents the IP from being changed; the second causes only the listed IPs to be changed.
- mapsid enhancement
- The --print-classes switch will print the class(es) to which each sensor belongs.
- rwcount enhancement and changes
- Implemented the --output-path switch which directs rwcount to write its output to the specified location.
- Allow rwcount to act like UNIX tee(1) by adding the --copy-input switch. This switch sends all SiLK Flow input to the specified file, stream, or named pipe.
- The column widths have changed slightly
- rwaddrcount enhancement
- Implemented the --output-path and --copy-input switches as described for rwcount.
- rwcut enhancement
- Implemented the --output-path and --copy-input switches as described for rwcount.
- rwstats enhancement
- Implemented the --output-path and --copy-input switches as described for rwcount.
- rwset enhancement
- Implmented the --copy-input switch as described for rwcount.
- rwtotal enhancement
- Implemented the --output-path switch as described for rwcount.
- rwuniq enhancement
- Implemented the --output-path switch as described for rwcount.
- rwsetcat bug fix
- Fix bug where the $PAGER was not being used.
- rwbagcat bug fixes
- Do not print a warning message when attempting to print an empty Bag or when the min/max limits caused no entries to be printed.
- Fix bug where the $PAGER was not being used.
- Print errors as human readable text, not error codes
- rwbagtool bug fix
- Print errors as human readable text, not error codes
- rwcat bug fix
- Modify rwcat so it will always print the SiLK header to a file, even when no records are present
- rwappend enhancement and bug fix
- New --print-statistics switch causes the number of records processed to be printed to the standard error.
- Output change: Modified rwappend so it only prints the number of records processed when --print-statistics is given.
- Fix a problem that occurred when SiLK was compiled with compression enabled by default and the applications were processing SiLK files produced by releases of SiLK prior to 0.10.5: the application would exit with the error message "Operation not permitted on compressed file" and no output would be generated.
- rwswapbytes bug fix
- See compression-related bug fix for rwappend
- rwnetmask bug fix
- See compression-related bug fix for rwappend
- Administration and configuration changes:
- New "silk.conf" file removes the requirement that sensors be defined at compile-time.
- The sensors, classes, and types are now defined at run-time through the use of a "silk.conf" text file. This file should be installed in the SILK_DATA_ROOTDIR directory.
- The run-time configuration allows a single installation of the analysis tools to query multiple data sets; simply set the SILK_DATA_ROOTDIR environment variable to the location of the data.
- The location of this file can also be specified by setting the SILK_CONFIG_FILE environment variable to its location, or by using the --site-config-file switch on most SiLK applications.
- The packer (rwflowpack) still requires certain classes and types to be defined, and it cannot use new classes and types without modifying C code. This restriction will go away in a future release.
- Major changes to the build system.
- The build system now uses all aspects of the GNU Autotools chain including automake and libtool.
- The tools can now be built with shared library support, reducing the size of the binaries and allowing the kernel to use a single copy of libsilk when multiple SiLK tools are running.
- Note that the use of shared libraries means the binaries can no longer easily be relocated; instead you should run "make install" again with the new location.
- The SiLK headers are now copied to the install target directory
- GNU make is no longer required to build the tools.
- New packing rules are used by default.
- The default site has changed from "generic" to "twoway". The twoway site allows flow records to be categorized and stored as internal-to-internal (int2int) and external-to-external (ext2ext). In addition, the "out" type is no longer everything that is not "in". The files created by the generic site are forward compatible with the twoway site; however, if you wish to continue using your current packing rules, run configure with the --enable-silk-site=generic switch. See the SiLK Installation Handbook for details.
- New transfer daemons: rwsender and rwreceiver
- These are meant to replace the direct connectivity between flowcap and rwflowpack. These daemons allow the flowcap files to be sent to multiple rwflowpack processes.
- In addition, they allow rwflowpack to process data on one system and send small files containing SiLK Flow records (called "incremental files") to another system (where the rwflowappend daemon is running) for analysis.
- New packing tool: rwflowappend
- rwflowappend appends SiLK Flow records contained in "incremental files" to hourly files.
- Changes to flowcap and rwflowpack
- The flowcap and rwflowpack tools have been modified to work with the new rwsender and rwreceiver, though they can also be used in legacy mode. With the transport removed from flowcap, flowcap files can now be sent to multiple locations.
- IPFIX flow collection enhancement
- Previous releases of SiLK (rwflowpack and flowcap) could only read IPFIX streams generated by YAF. With this release, SiLK can read flows from any IPFIX-compliant generator.
- Remove zlib requirement in rwflowpack
- Allow rwflowpack to be built even if zlib is not available. However, rwflowpack will not be able to read files of NetFlow PDUs when zlib is not present.
- New packing tool: rwpackchecker
- rwpackchecker performs a basic integrity check of a packed SiLK file.

Blitzed Open Proxy Monitor 3.1.3

Blitzed Open Proxy Monitor 3.1.3

Blitzed Open Proxy Monitor or BOPM, is an open source open proxy monitor. more>>
Blitzed Open Proxy Monitor or BOPM, is an open source open proxy monitor, designed for use with hybrid-based ircds, although it can be used with slight modification on any server which has the ability to show connects to opers and that supports KLINEs.
BOPM is known to work without modification on the following ircds:
- Bahamut (tested with 1.4.28, 1.4.30)
- Hybrid (tested with 2.8/hybrid-5.3p8, ircd-hybrid-6.3 and ircd-hybrid-7)
- ircd-ratbox (tested with > 2.1.8)
- charybdis (tested with > 2.0.0)
- Unreal (tested with 3.1.2 and 3.2)
- Dancer (tested with 1.0.31)
- TR-IRCD
- IRCu
- Ultimate (tested with UltimateIRCd 2.8.8 and 3.0.0.b3) - please note, earlier versions of Ultimate IRCD are not supported
- LiquidIRCd (tested with 1.0.4)
- InspIRCd (known to work with 1.0 and 1.1 version branches - instructions are given here)
Please note that BOPM will not work with older versions of Unreal without modifying Unreal to send the clients IP address in a connection notice. Patches are also available for download. On the latest versions of Unreal this is no longer needed. Remember for all Unreal versions you must set the perform line correctly (documented in the config file).
How does it work?
When a client connects to the IRC server, BOPM scans the client for open proxies. It then determines whether they are really open by using them to connect back to the server.
How does BOPM improve on first generation scanners (wgmon, tcm, oomon)?
It extends them by adding support for SOCKS4, SOCKS5, WinGate, HTTP proxies, insecure Cisco routers, simultaneous connections, and a more scalable model (written in C). BOPM also has support for a DNS blacklist, similar to MAPS RBL+ or Visi RSL
BOPM is in use without issue on servers receiving over 400 connections per minute during normal real-world operation (as in, regular client load excluding bursts and attacks). That is 7 user connections per second, enough for even the largest of IRC servers.
Additionally, BOPM contains the ability to match hosts against a DNS blacklist such as DroneBL or your own custom list, it can also submit new proxies that are found via email if the list accepts them.
Enhancements:
- This version was fixed to work with GCC 4 and various other cleanups.
