Free hotel booking software for linux

Cultbooking project is a hotel booking system.
Via a central API called CultSwitch, it is possible to make bookings and set the actual availabilities in the hotels PMS.
Enhancements:
- added session function to avoid reduplicate reservations
- added a new table errortext into the database ota_object_description and changed the scripts cancel.php and confirm.php to support for displaying the contents of errors
- modified the function send_xml_data in the file cb_funtionen_inc.php to connect with the new Cultswitch, the central API, which is now implemented in Java.
- added a function in Javascript to check the consistency between the numbe of the guests and the occupancy of the room(s).
- the detailed information of the hotel including the description of hotel or room can be displayed not only in English but also in German.

Openbookings.org is an web booking software that allows to manage in an unified way the timetables of all the shared resources of your group, association or company (vehicles, conference rooms, computers, video projectors, cameras, ...).

This software is freely usable/distributable/modifiable subject to respect of its GNU/GPL license conditions. Openbookings.org should work fine with any web server equipped with a PHP module and a MYSQL database.

Installation:

OPENBOOKINGS.ORG QUICKSETUP
(assumes you have PHP, MySQL and an admin tool installed on your server)

1 - MYSQL DATABASE SETUP

Use PhpMyAdmin or your favorite MySQL administration tool to :

- Create a MySQL database named "openbookings" or whatever
- Execute the "database_setup.sql" file to populate the newly created database

2 - CONNECTION SETUP

Open the "config.php" file with a text editor and set the correct values for
the variables $app_path, $db_server_address, $database_name, $db_user, $db_password, $db_connection_type and $time_offset

3 - APPLICATION SETUP

- Access OpenBookings with your web browser (default credentials = admin/admin)
- Click on [Settings] at the bottom of the left menu to access application options
- Click on [Users] at the bottom of the left menu to add authorised users

Booking for Plone is a project used to manage resources bookings.

PloneBooking proposes several content types for Plone: a booking center that contains bookable objects and bookings. You can do some configuration in your booking center like choosing the default view or determining types and categories for bookable objects.

Shezhu Resource Sharing System project is an application for scheduling and booking shared resources such as rooms and equipment.
The client only needs a modern Web browser.
It has a user friendly point and click interface, visual filters for making block/repeat bookings, concurrent users and double booking prevention, allows local site customization, and supports configurable academic term/semester blocks.

Requirements
In order to run or build the Shezhu Resource Sharing System you need some third-party software available on your machine.
Client
The client needs a modern web browser and the best browsers for this application are Firefox, Mozilla (including the Netscape branded equivalent and Gecko derivatives such as Galeon) and Microsoft Internet Explorer. The newest versions of all these browsers will work best. This application also works with the Konqueror and Opera browsers but these have some issues which may affect functionality. All browsers need JavaScript enabled. Any of these browsers may not work properly (or at all) depending on the operating system they are running under. Text based browsers (such as Lynx) are not supported.

Server
The server needs recent versions of the Apache web server and the MySQL database server.
The server has only been tested on Redhat9 and FedoraCore3 Linux/i386 platforms although there is no specific reason why it should not work on other Linux platforms and distributions.
Development
Rebuilding this application from source requires a standard Unix development environment with the sh, make, cc, cpp, sed and awk utilities. Also required are RCS, Perl (5.6+) and the ImageMagick program. Also required is RPM to build a distribution. All these programs would probably come as standard in Linux distributions, other platforms may not have all of them by default.

Support Incident Tracker (or SiT!) is a Web-based application for tracking technical support calls or emails.
Support Incident Tracker project can manage contacts, sites, technical support contracts, and support incidents in one place. You can send and receive email directly from SiT!, attaching files and recording every communication in the incident log.
SiT! is aware of Service Level Agreements, and incidents are flagged if they stray outside of them.
Support Incident Tracker grew out of an application developed by Salford Software since 2000 called Webtrack and is used in-house by Support Engineers to easily track support incidents.

Raplas objective is to provide an easy-to-use resource-management system.
The primary target of the program were universities. Rapla allows coordination beetween the lectures and the administration. It offers multiple ways to view the available resources and schedule the events.
Rapla started as a simple room booking software, but in the last five years it evolved into a fully configurable framework for event and resource-management.
Developement has started in a practical course at the department of Computer Science III at the University of Bonn, Germany.
