Gtk2::Ex::Dialogs::Question is a Perl module that provides a simple question dialog.

SYNOPSIS

This module provides a simple dialog api that wraps Gtk2::Dialog objectively. The objective is a clean and simple question dialog (just "NO" and "YES" buttons).

System Health Monitor for Linux is a handy python program that will setup your system to generate RRD Graphs of network interface traffic, system load, memory usage, disk space and inode usage and graphs of the number of running processes.

System Health Monitor features a user-friendly interactive configuration mode and auto-generated html pages. Just point your web server to the health_html directory to get an overview of the status of your machine. You can see examples of it in operation here on my machine and on KPLUG.org

WWW::Search::Profusion is a Perl class for searching Profusion.com!

SYNOPSIS

This class uses the Meta Search Engine http://www.profusion.com. Search engines searched are: 1) AltaVista 2) InfoSeek 3) Snap 4) Excite 5) LookSmart 6) WebCrawler 7) Magellan 8) Yahoo 9) GoTo

Most of the above defaults to Boolean. Profusion returns all retrieved hits to one page, so, there is no next page retrievals.

This class exports no public interface; all interaction should be done through WWW::Search objects.

USAGE OPTIONS

There is 5 possible option values for type of search (default is All): Simple All Any Boolean Phrase

To search different categories with Profusion you simpy change the the base search_url to one of the following:

Newsgroups = http://usenet.profusion.com/ Health = http://health.profusion.com/ Entertainment = http://entertainment.profusion.com/ Sports = http://sports.profusion.com/ MP3 = http://mp3.profusion.com/

You can turn on totalverify=0 to weed out any bad links returned, but be warned it is slowwwwww. totalverify=20 would verify first 20 links and so on....

IMathAS project is a Web-based math testing and homework system.
IMathAS (Internet Mathematics Assessment System) is a Web-based math testing and homework system.
It is a light course/learning management system and testing system, similar to and inspired by WebWork and WIMS, and similar to textbook-bundled systems like iLrn and MathXL.
It requires a browser with MathML and SVG support such as Firefox 1.5 or IE6 with plugins.
Main features:
- Math: The system was designed for Math assessment; no effort was made for the system to be multi-purpose.
- Sharing: The system was setup to encourage sharing of questions within a system and outside. Questions are grouped into question libraries, and are not tied directly to a specific assessment. Unless marked Private, questions can be used by anyone on the system, or used as a template for writing new questions. Export and Import allows the sharing of question sets between systems. Also, macro libraries allow for the expansion of IMathASs question language. Users with expertise in a field can develop macro extensions, and share them with other users.

Quizmo is a program that helps students study.

Users enter questions and answers, and the program asks the student the questions in a random order.

Quizmo project does this by having the user enter questions and their answers, and then asking the questions in a random order.

It is tested and developed on GNU/Linux, but as of the v0.10 release, it is written in C# and should work on any platform supported by Mono.
