LG is a Looking Glass written in Perl as a CGI script. It can execute almost all BGP-related commands and do ping and traceroute in routers or relay these queries to other looking glasses.
It supports both IPv4 and IPv6 commands, and is tested with Cisco, Zebra, and Juniper. It can connect to a router using different methods of remote connection like SSH, telnet or rsh.

DMAring project is a novel generic network interface card driver architecture which works in hybrid interrupt-polling mode to deliver superior real-time performance on Linux, Redhat Linux or Linux-RTAI-LXRT (a real-time co-kernel for Linux with user level extension).

Existing Linux drivers are inefficient, they saturate the CPU at a much lower packet rates than the maximum wire line packet rate that is possible. But with this driver, vanilla network cards can be used for high speed packet capturing. This driver improves the packet capturing speed by 7 to 10 times, and the real-time packet delivery response by 500 to 5000 times over existing drivers and alternate approaches (HIP, NAPI, pfring, check the references in the papers for performance comparisons [1, 2, 3]), depending on whether Redhat Linux or RTAI is used. Thus this obviates the need for expensive high capacity hardware, specialized network data acquisition cards and systems (for example from Endace).

This project contain basic source codes, which other developers can use/adapt for their applications, and three published conference papers [1, 2, 3] describes the architecture and establishes its benefits. One of the papers (at SANE 2006) also documents the detailed architecture and provides guidelines to modify any Linux network interface driver (Donald Becker style drivers).

Earlier I had received lot of mail request from networking, network security/monitoring domain people, to get these codes or modified specific network drivers. I am looking forward that some developer will take up this project, churn out driver modifications for the most common net work cards and share with others. I will continue to add other drivers, and libpcap library modifications when I get more time.

Anybody willing to know the issues involved in real-time Linux or looking for real-time networking solutions can take a look at my Masters thesis. I found RTAI with LXRT to be a very tractable, good performance, cheap (free!) real-time Linux option. My thesis contains some useful performance related discussions on this.

DungeonInc is a realtime dungeon simulator. The creatures living in the dungeon have their own will and the player can only interact to a certain extend.

Dungeon Incs goal is to gather as much valuables in your dungeon as you can. In order to accomplish that, youve to make it as comfortable as possible for your creatures while fending of attacks from the evil heroes looking for loot and fame.

Currently Im very busy with work and real life, so the project is not actively developed. Thats the main reason that this website exists. Im looking for people to continue the work on it, since I still like the idea. If youre interested in helping or taking over the project, please contact me.

The Blog Icon package contains a collection of high quality vectorial icons to represent common ideas and actions of the blogosphere.

They were based on the SVG work from FeedIcons.com. The base button is the same, but mathematically simplified on the XML level. New buttons were added based on other popular icons found on the web or created by myself. Also some redesign was made for new shapes to make the icons look better when exported to smaller image sizes.

By the way, I am not a designer nor an artist. I just know how to use SVG-creation tools as Inkscape or make good XML. Or I just have a blog demanding for these icons. So I’m sure people can contribute better color mixings an outlines. Let me know and lets integrate your ideas into this project in the right way.

blog_my is a weblog software.
Main features:
- It doesnt use a database. Everything is stored in files.
- World-class file upload & management interface. (uses SWFUpload)
- It uses web.py for clean, fast operation.
- It uses MochiKit for javascript goodness.
- The "admin" interface is the regular interface. When you login, "edit" links appear by things that are editable.
- People can edit their comments later
- Edits in progress are autosaved every 10 seconds.
- Javascript is used whenever possible to avoid page reloads when changing state.
- The javascript does not break search engine indexing. Pages & links look good to googlebot.
- It supports wiki-style "pages" (youre reading one now)
- Markdown is used for formatting. Raw html can be used too. Theres no WYSIWYG editor.
- Its pretty extensible. Different types of "things" (besides the default posts, quotes, books) can be added without changing any existing code.
- Configuration & customization is simple:
- 1 config file
- 1 css file
- 1 template file
- Fairly lightweight. About ~1000 lines of python + ~1000 lines of javascript. (though the size increases about 20x when you add MochiKit & web.py & SWFUpload).
