MARGO project is an Argumentation Framework for decision making. A logic language is used as a concrete data structure for holding the statements like knowledge, goals, and actions. Different priorities are attached to these items corresponding to the reliability of the knowledge, the users preferences, and the credibility of alternatives.
These concrete data structures consist of information providing the backbone of arguments. Due to the abductive nature of decision making, we built arguments by reasoning backwards. Moreover, arguments are defined as tree-like structures.
In this way, MARGO can be used as a Decision Support System, suggesting some solutions, as other classical approaches, but also providing an interactive and intelligible explanation of this choice.
Enhancements:
- In order to evaluate the previous statements, all relevant pieces of information should be taken into account, such as the likelihood of beliefs, the preferences between goals, or the expected utilities of the alternatives.
- In the previous version, these priorities were qualitatives, i.e order relations classifying the elements from the "best" to the "worst".
- However, such qualitative information is not enough in many practical applications.
- Alternatively, this version allows quantitative priorities which are expressed by a valuation function over rules, called confidence.

Kadischi is an alternative to Pilgrim an application for Fedora Core based LiveCD generation.

The project is still in the early stage of development and is available via CVS.

Kadischi Goals:

Build robust tools for building Fedora-based Live CDs, and putting these tools into Fedora Extras.

Create Live CDs from these tools, based entirely upon content in Fedora Core and Fedora Extras, for official "blessing".

Distribute these blessed Live CDs far and wide, through whatever clever means we can come up with.

NmapSi is a complete Qt-based Gui with the design goals to provide a complete control nmap scanner interface. This gui is compatible with all linux and *BSD Os, support all extension of nmap scanner.

ECF is a framework developed to build web applications in an easy way. ECForms goals can be enumerated as follows:
Main features:

ECF is a programming language based on IPL (IENJINIA Programming Language), IDB and JSF (JavaServer Faces) developed to build web applications.

Rascan is a rewrite of Inter7s simscan. RASCAN will provide you with the following:
- Will (optionally) check for virus using ClamAV
- Will (optionally) pass your mail through SpamAssassin
- Will (optionally) add a footer to your messages using altermime
The goals of this project are:
- Make it more runtime configurable, instead of having so many compile-time options.
- Make it simpler, removing functionality I didnt use
- Add a little extra, specifically a chance to add footers to messages using altermime
- Make it use bstrlibs string routines, because programming C I am a chicken.
To use rascan, you need a qmail installation with the QMAILQUEUE and qmail-queue-custom-error patches.

Cutlass is a cross-platform system for secure peer to peer communication, oriented towards small groups. It provides IM and file transfer. A major design goal is to be easy to use, even by non-security conscious users. The Cutlass main goals are :

Easy enough to use for broad adoption
Coded using widely supported APIs, to be multiplatform
Secure by default, using encrypted channels
Useful for everyday Internet functionality. Transmit sound, files, text.
P2P as independent of central servers/failure points as possible.
Extendable (both in functionality and paranoia)
Not dependent on central servers

Cutlass is currently under development. The current version provides message, file and voice transmission, but grouping, directory services and connection forwarding are not yet implemented.

Cutlass was originally named DEFJAM (Distributed, Encrypted File Journalling And Messaging), and was the subject of a presentation at Notacon.

ArgusEye is a GUI for some of the features of Argus. Argus is a powerful suite of tools for transaction-based network auditing.
The project aims at supporting daily work with Argus by providing a graphical user interface.
Goals:
- A GUI to help in the daily work with Argus
- Scalable for enterprise usage
- Support for everything you can do with Argus
- Dont re-invent the wheel (not considering proprietary wheels...)
