Gnometab aims to be a WYSIWYG guitar tablature editor. Its features include copying and pasting of tablature passages, a chord library (which the user must fill), the ability to create a variety of tablature symbols specific to the guitar, and clean-looking printed output. It does not attempt to be "smart", i.e. it does not know how many beats are in a measure, nor does it know an E chord from an Am chord. Instead, the emphasis exists on the appearance of the output.
Main features:
- Gnometabs features include copying and pasting of tablature passages, a chord library (which the user must fill with chords), professional-looking rhythm notation (not perfect yet), the ability to create a variety of tablature symbols specific to the guitar -- bends, slurs (hammer-ons, pull-offs, etc.), etc. -- and, of course, clean-looking printed output, given any postscript-compatible printer. Gnometab does not attempt to be "smart", i.e., it does not know how many beats are in a measure, nor does it know an E chord from an Am chord. Instead, the emphasis has been on the appearance of the output.
- Gnometab was designed by me, for me. Consequently, it reflects the kind of guitar player that I am. It has a heavy emphasis on fingerstyle guitar. Note that chords can be printed directly on the staff rather than over it. This may prove helpful for teaching -- the students progress across the staff is interrupted by the chord, making overlooked chord changes less frequent. Gnometab lacks some features peculiar to "rock" guitar, most especially a method for creating complex bends or for notating wild whammy-bar pyrotechnics.... Please feel free to add these features and send me a patch!

Reby stands for: "Ruby-Eggdrop Bridge Yes-this-letter-has-no-meaning-in-the-acronym". Reby allows you to write scripts for eggdrop in Ruby.
Usage
To use Reby with your eggdrop:
1. Move the "reby*" files to some appropriate location such as /path/to/your/eggdrop/scripts/reby . At the least, reby.rb and reby.conf should be together.
2. Enable the .tcl command in your eggdrops conf, if it isnt already. This is usually done by commenting out the following line:
unbind dcc n tcl *dcc:tcl
If you make this change, dont forget to rehash your eggdrop to have the change take effect.
3. Edit the reby.conf file. It is heavily commented and self-explanatory.
4. Run the reby.rb program. You can run it in the background, pipe stdout or stderr wherever you like--whatever you want. By default, it does not run as a daemon, and it writes status and error messages to stdout. It also looks for a configuration file called reby.conf in the same directory. You can pass the path to a specific configuration file as an argument to reby.rb.

DoXFS project is a filesystem-based document management system.
DoXFS (pron. docs-eff-ess) is a document management system that uses the XFS filesystem to store both content (files) and meta-data (file attributes), bypassing the traditional architecture of filesystem and database, and leveraging the built-in advantages of XFS.
Currently, it offers a Web frontend based on PHP and standard management functionality (create, delete, attributes add/delete, etc.) as well as extras such as versioning and Full Text Indexing (using Namazu).
Enhancements:
- New Features in DoXFS Web Client:
- Super users can now see all of the hidden properties of a document or topic object.
- Some of the hidden properties are now editable (be careful) while the rest are read-only and should not be modified.
- Browse lists are now sorted ascending from the entire list.
- More work needs to be done here so that the end user can choose to sort ascending or descending.
- Bug fixes in DoXFS Web Client:
- When create a new document, the title bar showed an incorrect creation date.
- The topic tree was not refreshing after creating a new topic.
- New Features in DoXFS Server:
- Added a new index array to the document parents index to support sorting of all documents in a topic.

liba52 is a free library for decoding ATSC A/52 streams. It is released under the terms of the GPL license.
The A/52 standard is used in a variety of applications, including digital television and DVD. It is also known as AC-3.
a52dec
a52dec is a test program for liba52. It decodes ATSC A/52 streams, and also includes a demultiplexer for mpeg-1 and mpeg-2 program streams.
The liba52 source code is always distributed in the a52dec package, to make sure it easier for people to test it.
Main features:
- Portability- Currently all of the code is written in C, and when we write platform-specific optimizations we will always keep a generic C routine to fall back on.
- Reuseability- we do not want liba52 to include any project-specific code, but it should still include enough features to be used by very diverse projects.
- Precision- We are trying to implement all of the A/52 standard, and to have a very precise output by doing all the calculations in floating point. We have a test suite that detects any deviation in the output when compared to previous versions. We do not have access to official A/52 test vectors though, so we have to use our judgement to ensure that such deviations are only intruduced when we fix bugs !
- Speed- liba52 is really fast, on any modern PC it should take only a few percent of CPU time.

pymssql module provides access to MS SQL Servers from Python scripts.
Its the most efficient method of accessing MS SQL Servers data from Python scripts. If you care about performance, you can give it a try.
Supported Platforms
pymssql 0.7.4 has been tested on FreeBSD 6.0, NetBSD 2.1, 3.0, Linux with kernel 2.6, and Windows XP. It should also run on other platforms.
pymssql 0.7.1 has been tested on FreeBSD 5.4 and 6.0, NetBSD 2.0.2, Linux with kernel 2.6, Solaris 10/x86, Mac OS X (thanks Joseph Kocherhans) and Windows XP. It should also run on other platforms.

Supported SQL Server versions
pymssql 0.7.4 on *BSD, Linux was successfully tested with SQL Server 2000, all service pack levels.
pymssql 0.7.4 on Windows was successfully tested with SQL Server 2000 RTM, SP3a and SP4, and with SQL Server 2005 RTM (9.00.1399.06).
Main features:
- Supports connecting to MS SQL 2000 and SQL 2005 servers, all editions and service pack levels.
- Supports named instances and non-standard port numbers.
- Great performance: it uses MS SQL DB-Library for C instead of Win32 ODBC.
- Multiple Query/Multiple Result.

GTK Photo Gallery is an album to manage small and medium-sized photograph collections. It is possible to upload images to an online laboratory.
It allows quick management by processing multiple files together. Rotate, delete, move, and manage descriptions can be done for all files in one directory at once.
GTK Photo Gallery is implemented with GTK2-Perl, and due to the lack of a Web server in between, it is much faster than CGI-based scripts. It uses the same directory structure as (and can be used together with) My Photo Gallery (a set of CGI scripts).
It is possible to export (and import) an album in 0.7, 4.7 or 8.5 GB parts for easy CD/DVD backup.
Each part contains a html index as overview and for navigation. User can choose the thumnail sizes to export.
This can be used to create a simple static web album.
