GNOME Art is a frontend for art.gnome.org.

The GNOME Art Collection written in ruby is a collection of tools for managing art from the art.gnome.org website.

GNOME Art is the graphical frontend for art.gnome.org. Backgrounds and all themes can be downloaded and previewed. Backgrounds, icon themes and splash screens can be installed directly.

GNOME Splash Screen Manager is for managing the splash screens of the GNOME desktop.

GNOME Maze project is a maze board game.
The objective is to get the Tux out of the maze.
This release has different levels, and if you are unable to solve the maze, the computer can do it for you.

GNOME-Ding is a graphical tool for spellchecking and translation (of single) words.

For spellchecking GNOME-Ding will by used a installed aspell-dictionary. For translation, GNOME-Ding will use a own dictionary, that will based on a Ding-Dictionary (Ding-Projekt). At moment, GNOME-Ding will support German/Englisch dictionary and a very simple German/Latin dictionary.

The used Ding-Dictionary is a little bit modify, i.e. for better connection with UTF8-Charset. As additional gnome-ding will contain also other dictionaries like de-fr, or en-ar and some more but I need some help to check the correctness of this dictionaries.
As another extension, GNOME-Ding will come with a german thesaurus, based on OOo.

GNOME-Ding is intended by Ding-Projekt, and g2ding from Oliver Grawert.

GNOME-Ding you can easy extend for more languages and dictionaries. The Programm works under Gnome2, a lookup is very easy, only input the word and press the search-button.

GNOME-Ding will distributed under the terms of GPL2.

GNOME-Ding is free software, and will distributed under the terms of GNU General Public License, you can it be free used, change and distributed.

Gnome OSD project is a notification system.

Gnome OSD is a new small project to create an OSD (On Screen Display) infrastructure, similar to XOSD.

It includes a command-line client, and sample xchat and rhythmbox plugins.

Gnome-RDP is a Remote Desktop Client for the GNOME Desktop. Gnome-RDP supports the following protocols: RDP, VNC, SSH.
Additional programs required: rdesktop, tightvnc, ssh, gnome-term.
Enhancements:
- Custom screen resolution for RDP sessions
- Database converter from ver. 0.2.0 to 0.2.2
- (bugfix) Disabled user field in case of VNC session
- (bugfix) Sound redirection combo displayed the value of Image quality. It has been fixed and now displayes the correct value.
- Double click on session name initiate the connection to remote computer. Double click on category expands/collapses its node.
- sessionTreeView expands to modified session after closing the options

Java-GNOME application is a set of Java bindings for the GNOME and GTK libraries that allow GNOME and GTK applications to be written in Java.

The Java-Gnome API has been carefully designed to be easy to use, maintaining a good OO paridigm, yet still wrapping the entire functionality of the underlying libraries.

Java-Gnome can be used with the Eclipse development environment and Glade user interface designer to create applications with ease.

Java-Gnome is part of the official Gnome Bindings Release, commiting us to high quality regular releases.

Gnome-Dial is an user-friendly PPP dialer for GNOME 2. The idea which has given this project to light is quite simple: giving GNOME 2 users a usable, fullly-featured, GNOME-integrated, clean and fast interface to the ppp package in order to make dialup connections easily.

There already are tons of such tools and some are particullarly valid (Gnome-PPP for example), but they often need other programs like WvDial to make connections, or are not so clean, fast or well-integrated with the GNOME interface.

You can consider Gnome-Dial (expecially in this moment of hard development), a frontend for PPP, but this is not what it is intented to be: it will sooner or later begin to include new features and its own configuration files to represent modems, connections etc.

However it will not try to replace the ppp package. The package will soon include also a configuration generator.
