GNOME Office is the premier suite of office productivity applications designed for the GNOME desktop environment.
Some of the applications also can run on Windows or Mac OS X. They provide powerful, efficient office productivity capabilities as free (GPL) software.

GNOME Maze project is a maze board game.
The objective is to get the Tux out of the maze.
This release has different levels, and if you are unable to solve the maze, the computer can do it for you.

Gnome OSD project is a notification system.

Gnome OSD is a new small project to create an OSD (On Screen Display) infrastructure, similar to XOSD.

It includes a command-line client, and sample xchat and rhythmbox plugins.

GNOME Schedule is a system schedule maintenance tool. GNOME Schedule project has support for the cron and at scheduling systems. It aims to be as HIG compatible as possible.

The target is to provide any sane desktop user with a tool to maintain the scheduling of his or her desktop tasks, while not requiring an understanding of the cron or at subsystems.

Gnome Bloxsom is a GUI based program to post entries to a Blosxom based weblog. The program requires Python version 2.2 or greater, PyGTK version 2.0 or greater, and Gnome-Python for Gnome 2.

It can optionally use PyGtkSpell version 0.3.1 or greater for spell checking, which is part of Gnome-Python-Extras. More information about the Bloxsom weblog application can be found at www.blosxom.com.

gnome-chess is chess game, a graphical user interface for playing chess.

It works with chess programs and chess servers - it is also a PGN viewer. For chess programs, it works best with the chess engine crafty (ftp://ftp.cis.uab.edu/pub/hyatt) but most features should also work with GNU Chess (ftp://ftp.gnu.org).

You can use the "first chess program" option to choose the computer engine you want to play against.

E.g. try "gnome-chess --fcp crafty" or "gnome-chess --fcp gnuchessx"

You can use the --ics* options to choose the server and pick user name and passwords.

E.g. try "gnome-chess --ics --icshost freechess.org"

GNOME Sudoku is a GNOME-based puzzle game. Sudoku is a popular puzzle Japanese logic game. GNOME Sudoku intends to provide a simple interface for generating, playing, saving, printing and solving Sudoku puzzles.

At present, GNOME Sudoku supports infinite undo, generation of symmetric puzzles with unique solutions, and basic features to help gameplay.

GNOME-Fx is a set of themes for Mozilla Firefox which tries to let Firefox look like a native GNOME application.
There are five different flavors of GNOME-Fx, which are intented to blend in with different GNOME themes.
If the GNOME theme you are using is not listed above you can opt for using either the GNOME-Fx or GNOME-Fx-blue theme, because most of the widgets automatically adapt to the them. You can also change the themes to adapt it to your GNOME theme. Ill be happy to host your variaton on GNOME-Fx
The themes are based on the GNOME icons which are part the GNOME desktop, Epiphany (the standard GNOME web browser), the Industrial theme of Garrett LeSage and GNOME for Firefox of Marcel Hoffs.

- GNOME-Fx-blue: Blends in well with for example the Glider / SmoothGNOME Theme. Uses the blue GTK icons.
