Free gelemental 1.0.0 software for linux

gElemental is a periodic table viewer that provides detailed information on the chemical elements. It uses the GTK+ toolkit and is available for Linux and other GTK+ platforms. It is free software released under the GNU General Public License.
The project was developed and is currently maintained by Kevin Daughtridge. It is derived from GPeriodic, developed by Jonas Frantz and originally by Kyle R. Burton.
Main features:
- The table view allows the elements to be coloured thematically. Colouring by chemical series and by phase is currently supported.
- The list view displays key information about the elements, and can be sorted by number, symbol, and name, among others.
- The element properties dialog displays a variety of information, including historical, thermodynamic, electrochemical, and crystallographic properties. (A full list of properties is available.)
- gElemental supports multiple languages. (See translation status for a list.)
- Additional improvements over GPeriodic include:
- Improved interface with better theme compatibility.
- Updated and corrected data set.
- Element and table data in separate data library, libgelemental.
- C++ code base with appropriate typing of element information.

gfontsel program is a simple wrapper around the GTK+ 2 font selection dialog. It allows you to select a font.

The font name is written to the standard output in the GTK+ 2 font naming scheme.

Building and installing the program:

- Read the makefile. Change the install locations if you want.
- To build the program invoke make.
- To install the program, invoke make install *as root*.

If you dont like it, login as root, change to the source directory and run make uninstall. After that you can remove the source tree.

Wtcl is a Tcl module for Apache. It provides an embedded, persistent Tcl interpreter and a set of commands for developing dynamic Tcl-based web pages. mod_wtcl currently works with Tcl >= 8.1 and Apache 1.3.

This project is based on VLC, it encodes and streams video using port 8080 in an MMS stream, so you can watch it with VLC, using URL mmsh://yourserverip:8080/, or any other MMS-capable player, using URL mms://yourserverip:8080/, or just by opening the TV page in your web browser.

Bloglines Notifier is a Gnome panel applet that monitors a Bloglines account and displays an alert when there new items.

When there are new items the applet displays a tooltip with the count of unread items. Also one can double click on the applet in order to launch a web browser and point it at the Bloglines account being monitored.
