DreamPlayer is a Linux-console multi format player. Its the first Linux console multimedia player supports TwinVQ, and Wave (for now). There is planned version for Windows in the future. Player uses free decoder library known as TwinVQ SDK by NTT.

Yes, I know there is a Linux native multimedia player called XMMS working in the X Window environment. But X Window uses much more resources than my program, and XMMS arent better. So I wanted to create a small player with big abilities. The first: I did by using text console environment, the second: Im on ncurses based interface to make the player more useful. Courier mail transfer agent (MTA) is an integrated mail/groupware server based on open commodity protocols, such as ESMTP, IMAP, POP3, LDAP, SSL, and HTTP. Courier provides ESMTP, IMAP, POP3, webmail, and mailing list services within a single, consistent, framework.
Individual components can be enabled or disabled at will. Courier now implements basic web-based calendaring and scheduling services integrated in the webmail module. Advanced groupware calendaring services will follow soon.
Couriers source code should compile on most POSIX-based operating systems based on Linux, and BSD-derived kernels. Courier should also compile on Solaris and AIX, with some help from Suns or IBMs freeware add-on tools for their respective operating systems.
Courier evolved out of several related projects, that merged together (more on that later). Courier implements SMTP extensions for mailing list management and spam filtering. Courier can function as an intermediate mail relay, relaying mail between an internal LAN and the Internet, or perform final delivery to mailboxes.
Courier uses maildirs as its native mail storage format, but it can also deliver mail to legacy mailbox files as well. Couriers configuration is set by plain text files and Perl scripts. Most of Couriers configuration can now be adjusted from a web browser, using Couriers web-based administration module.
Courier can provide mail services for regular operating system accounts. Courier can also provide mail services for virtual mail accounts, managed by an LDAP, MySQL, or PostgreSQL-based authentication database.
Enhancements:
- This release introduces a Web-based interface to couriermlm, implementing complete, browser-based mailing list administration functionality.

Font Mate application helps you to see how fonts look on your computer, and it also helps you find symbol characters.

Using Font Mate

There isnt much to it: Font Mate shows you a list of all the fonts installed on your computer. Choose any font from the list and it will show you what all the characters in that font look like. Choose any one of those characters and you will see an enlarged version of it at the bottom of the page (with its ASCII code in decimal and hex, should you be interested). Click the button to copy that character to the clipboard if you want to use it in another application.

We wrote Font Mate originally for Mac OS X, but we have included versions for Windows and Linux too. We wrote it using REALbasic, a great tool for cross-platform rapid development. Source is available on request.

FTPWebLog project is a freeware integrated WWW and FTP log reporting tool. Its primary inspiration was the wwwstat program written by Roy Fielding.

While a good program - wwwstat has some design flaws that make it unsuited for use by large sites as released - notably difficult reconfiguration of reports, bad handling of characters that should be escaped, difficulty in making it support additional log formats, poor support for multiple servers, and the rather after the fact retro-fitting of graphic reports to it.

My experience using and heavily customizing wwwstat led me to conclude that I needed a new program written from the ground up for flexibility: FTPWebLog was the result.

wwwstat still does some things that FTPWebLog does not - most notably filtering of reports by date. On the flip side, FTPWebLog does several things that wwwstat does not and is much easier to customize to match a sites particular needs.

Configuration:

Almost all the options are explained directly in the source for ftpweblog and graphftpweblog. Here is a short general guide that should let you get up.

Identify where your access_log is stored. Change $LogFile in the ftpweblog program to point to it.

If using graphftpweblog, set $GraphFTPWebLogURL in the ftpweblog program to point the URL where you intend to put the graphic report html file generated by graphftpweblog.

Make any directories that will be used by graphftpweblog to store the gif files it generates.

Run ftpweblog - directing its output to a file:

ftpweblog > stats.html

If using graphftpweblog, run it - also directing its output to a file.

graphftpweblog > graphs.html

You should now have a report. That easy. By fine tuning the report options, you can make it as short or as in depth as you like.
