- Technalign, Inc. has announced it has released its Beta 1 Pioneer Linux Christian Edition operating system to the community. The beta includes many of the features that come standard with Pioneer Linux. The application includes the King James Bible and many study applications. The Pioneer Christian Edition replaces the Frontier Christian Edition previously retailed by Technaligns partners. There will be a non-installable edition available for Windows users who only want to use the Christian Edition for study. Technalign requests that users report back any applications they would like added as well as applications that they wish removed along with bug reports.

Peekko Chat adds a toolbar to Firefox that shows how many people are in that pages chat room and allows you to instantly connect with them.
Installation:
- Install the extension by clicking on the following link using Firefox 1.5.
- Click on the "Options" button in the toolbar and select a set of nicknames to give yourself. If your nickname is taken, it will use one of your alternate nicknames. Note: If you skip this step, you might be given an unfavorable nickname from the nickname generator like "kurblatz18".
- To see how many people are at a given page, click "Connect."

WBB IRC Postbot is a hack for the Woltlab Burning Board (WBB) which posts new threads, posts and registrations automatically into IRC (Internet Relay Chat). Furthermore, users can search the board, show the latest threads/posts and look up a user’s last seen date via IRC.

Available commands

!boardsearch < title > – Shows threads and posts whose title contains the searched words.
!boardseen < username > – Shows when the user was seen the last time in board and when he posted the last time.
!latest – Shows the latest threads/posts (amount is configurable).
!topposter – Shows users with the most posts.
!foren (only for configured admins) – Shows the boards whose threads/posts will be posted into IRC (mainly for debugging purposes).
!lastusers (only for configured admins) – Shows the last registrations.
