Free Reign project consists of a fully-3D city simulator.
Free Reign is a fully-3D city simulator, with advanced features planned such as ore mining, advanced financial models, and other features users request.

Installation
At the current time, installation of the game is by simply compiling and running the game in the compile directory. Compilation is standard:
Type ./configure in the FreeReign directory
Type make when configure succeeds.
Change to the src directory
Type ./fr to run the game
Enhancements:
- Bug fix in getMinHeight/Max - ugh. How did I ever forget that? My last C++ compiler must have assumed I was returning height..my God.

AMI is a universal P2P framework written in Java and XML. It allows people to communicate using plug-in AMI protocols. It can support any P2P protocol.

Textbender project is a toolkit for collaborative authoring based on structures and methods derived from nature.
Structures include a genetic code, populations, and a gene pool. A text is encoded with genetic markup and then distributed out to writers to form a population of copies and a gene pool of variations.
Writers communicate by recombination - they make contributions to the pool and they draw on the contributions of others. In the course of their interactions they conduct a search through the design space and the text evolves.
Enhancements:
- The project was effectively opened up. We now have a contributors page, a discussion group, a Mercurial repository, and improved documentation.

DrKnock project is a port knocking solution based on sig2knock by Cappella and Tan Chew Keong (http://www.security.org.sg/code/portknock1.html).
Right now, the only functional improvement over sig2knock is the ability to use the client under Windows XP SP2. The client and server work on both Unix and Windows.
Enhancements:
- A code cleanup was undertaken and bugs were fixed.
- The last occurrences of sig2knock were replaced by drknock, including the Windows service name and log file.

Shaperd is a user-mode program that can shape traffic passing through a Linux box. I egan to write it because I was tired of waiting for the echoes when I telnet other machines over my slow ppp link to the internet. I did try cbq and shaper, but none satisfied me (It wasnt well-documented at the time, but now this is history. Besides, I was looking for something cool to play with. Cbq is very powerful and generic (try it!), but is a little bit harder to learn.
Enhancements:
- This is a maintenance update for iptables 1.2.5. Ive discovered and fixed a couple of alignment problems while working on a sparc64 machine, plus other minor, miscellaneous fixes.
