Grout project is a program to solve tile-placing, edge-matching puzzles.

It runs under both the Sun JVM and the free Kaffe VM. Puzzles may be of the sort where an edge matches itself (red matches red) or where an edge matches its pair (front matches back).

It only supports puzzles using tiles that have either four sides (square) or six sides (hexagonal). The board is assumed to be symmetrical, with a single central tile. This means that only puzzles with certain number of tiles are accepted.

The package comes with instructions and several sample puzzles.

This is a program that will help you at your electronic based projects or at school. For it to calculate you will have to enter data in two of the four data fields. The four data fields are: electric power [P], resistance[R], current[I] and voltage[V].

As an example if you want to calculate the resistance[R] you wil have to supply the value for the electric power[P] and current[I] or you can supply the value of the power[P] and voltage[V].

xquarto project is a two-player board game based on logic.

Xquarto is a board game designed for the X windows environment. The game is a two-player game, although for the moment,it is only possible to play against the computer. The board is composed of 4x4 squares and 16 pieces. Each piece has four
properties: black or brown, horizontal or vertical, solid or hollow, round or square. This makes up 16 possible combinations and there is exactly one piece for each possibility.

Initially, the board is empty and it is successively filled with pieces. The game is over when a row, a column or a diagonal has four pieces carrying a common property in it, e.g. four black (brown) pieces, four square (round) pieces, four filled
(hollow) pieces, four horizontal (vertical) pieces. In the original quarto rules, the player who is the first to complete a row, column or diagonal as described above wins. This is the implicit mode under which xquarto runs. A variant of the game (tic rules) consists rather of avoiding alignments, i.e. the player who is forced to complete
an alignment loses.

The game is a two-player game. Player 1 chooses one of the 16 pieces. Player 2 then places this piece on one of the 16 squares of the board and chooses a piece out of the remaining 15 pieces which he gives to player 1, who places this piece on one of the remaining 15 squares on the board, etc...

Xquarto supports three different player combinations: human vs computer, computer vs human and human vs human (possibly through the local network in the latter case). The default combination is human vs computer, i.e. the human player starts the game against the computer. This can be changed by clicking on the "Actions" menu (see below for more details).

FreeDoko is a Doppelkopf-game, written by Borg Enders and Diether Knof. It is developed under and for the platforms Linux and Windows.

The game is still under developement, but since some time playable.

The game ”Doppelkopf“ is a card game for four or more Players. One game will be played by four players.

Doppelkopf originates probably from the mostly in south germany played game ”Schafkopf“. Its name comes from the double (in German: Doppel) existence of each Card (Doppel-Schafkopf). Meanwhile Doppelkopf is played in whole germany, but mainly in north germany and the region of Rhein and Main.

Doppelkopf is a card game with 48 cards and at least 4 players. It is not unlike the card game ”Skat“. Doppelkopf is played with two normal Skat packs of cards (each has 32 cards) without sevens and eights. Here the players with the club queens are playing together. So there are while playing often new pairs.

Doppelkopf is like Skat a game which depends on the skills of each player. This guarantees a exciting and varied game event.

Nebula Cards project is a card game engine.
Nebula Cards is a networked, modular card game engine written in pure Java.
The game rules, user interfaces, and computer players all take the form of pluggable Java classes, and most four-player, trick-taking games can be implemented.
It currently includes Spades and Hearts, with a computer player for Spades.

EQU is a realtime graphical equalizer that will equalize the audio of almost everything you play through XMMS (OGG, MP3, WAV, etc.).

You can choose four different band configurations (10, 15, 25 and 31), all of them with ISO central frequencies, independent gain settings for left and right channels, and more than +-14dB of gain per band.

EQU project features a skinnable GUI and shadowed mode.
