Simple PHP-based forum, it uses MySQL database to store messages. It supports threads and can be installed from the browser. This is an example of a program written in an hour.

Simply open file forum.php in the browser and follow instructions.

jzForum is a simple forum system based on the jZonic framework that supports multiple forums and RSS feeds for forums, categories, and threads.
User and rights management is integrated. It is very easy to install because it uses hypersonic as a database, although it can be used with different databases.

TalkBack Forum 2 is a Firefox extension that shows a menu option which launches a discussion forum topic. Matches the web page and any selected/highlighted text to other discussion groups and web sites. Allows adding discussion to any web page.

Two benefits:

1) quickly right-click on any subject and talkback about it.
2) Add talk back to any web page easily.

#1 searches for and lists any existing discussion for the topic highlighted based on the page and any selection. #1 also searches the web for related pages. The conext of the search may be set with the menus at the left.

Screensavers for Xandros 4.x contains twelve different screensavers you can try out for Xandros. They are static builds, so they should work out of the box. You may need OpenAL for the Really Slick Screensavers, and the sound is a bit scratchy, since I compiled the thing with Arts so the sounds would work all the time.
You dont have to have OpenAL installed though, you just wont get sound. Kanjisaver needs the Chineese fonts installed in order to function properly, so if you deselected those, pop in your Xandros cd and install them before installing it.
Other than that, the rest *should* work out of the box just fine. There are additional builds available, but this only gives me 12 spots. Simply right-click save the link for the package you want. Then Double click to install.
