Scum of the Universe 1.0
Scum of the Universe is a space trading game that combines two genres: arcade and strategy. more>>
Following the main storyline, you go through the galaxy from one planet to another. Space travel requires fuel, so you need to keep earning money to buy it. You can also buy various upgrades for your spaceship and weapons that affect the arcade part of the game. The storyline itself is not linear. There are also some points where youll need to make decisions that will determine your destiny.
For thousands of years, people of planet Xen have colonized the planets in their galaxy. As time went by, many colonies grew unhappy about their status, as everything was controlled by Xen. Some of them organized military units and declared independence. You can see the status of each planet by "Rebel Sentiment" indicator. Planets with RS higher than 50% are ruled by the Rebel government, and Rebel laws apply.
Trading firearms is legal on planets ruled by Rebels, as they need as much firepower as they can get. On the other hand, Empire forbid all the trading with firearms and other ground weaponry as they wish to maintain their military advantage. One of the ways to make a lot of money is to buy cheap guns at Empire planets and sell them for a lot of money on Rebel planets where demand is extremely high. But be careful as youll need to fight Empire fleet once they find out youre a smuggler.
Beside the raging war between Xen Empire and the rebels there is increased activity of alien species, who destroy human ships. The stronger alien activity, the more waves of alien ships youll need to defeat in each planets outer orbit. Some of the aliens you destroy may drop artifacts (big blue ones) which you can sell at any space station for 20credits a piece.
Form Spam Bot Blocker 0.2
Form Spam Bot Blocker is a PHP class that can generate forms that prevent submission by spam robots. more>>
The project generates hidden inputs for forms that have special values that are verified on the server after the form is submitted to eventually detect whether the form was sent by a spam robot.
The class can generate an hidden input that contains an encoded value of the user browser, user computer IP address and the current time.
The class verifies whether these browser name and IP address are still the same, and also whether the form is being submitted by a normal time interval after it was create, like when it is submitted by a real human user.
The class also generates a text input that are invisible for the user. A human user would not fill this input. If the input is submitted with a value, it was certainly a robot.
When the class detects a situation that demonstrates the form was submitted by a robot, the application should not accept the form submission.

PloneFormGen 1.0.3
PloneFormGen provides a generic Plone form generator using fields, widgets and validators from Archetypes. more>>
Actions like mailing or saving form input are incorporated by included plug-in adapters.
This product provides a generic Plone form generator using fields, widgets and validators from Archetypes. It makes it possible to build simple contact, information-gathering or data-entry forms through Plones interface.
To use it, create a form folder, then add form fields as contents. Individual fields can display and validate themselves for testing purposes. The form folder creates a form from all the contained field content objects.
Final disposition of form input is handled via plug in action products. Action adapters included with this release include a mailer and a save-data adapter that saves input in tab-separated format for later download. When you first add a form folder, its configured as simple response form with input mailed to the owner.
Since PloneFormGenerator uses Archetypes fields, widgets and validators, its also a good tool for rapidly prototyping forms intended for use with Archetypes-derived content types.

z3c.formjs 0.2.0
This provides a Python API to common Javascript features for forms written with the z3c.form packages. more>>
z3c.formjs 0.2.0 with its excellent features will surely support your work. It can actually provide a Python API to common Javascript features for forms written with the 'z3c.form' packages. While the reference backend-implementation is for the JQuery library, any other Javascript library can be hooked into the Python API.
In the 'z3c.form' package, buttons are most commonly rendered as "submit" input fields within a form, meaning that the form will always be submitted. When working with Javascript, on the other hand, a click on the button often simply executes a script. The 'jsaction' module of this package is designed to implement the latter kind.
Enhancements: 7/18/2007
- Feature: Registration of public AJAX server calls via a simple decorator. The calls are made available via a special 'ajax' view on the original view.
- Feature: Allow registering of JS subscriptions via a decorator within the presentation component.
- Feature: Added a new CSS selector.
- Feature: Implementation of AJAX-driven widget value validation.
- Restructure: Completely overhauled the entire API to be most easy to use and have the most minimal implementation.
- Bug: The package is now 100% tested.
- Feature: Implementation of AJAX request handlers in forms.

some_func(request_rec* r) {
apr_table_t* (*form_vars)(request_rec*) ;
apr_table_t* (*form_lookup)(request_rec*, const char*) ;
apr_table_t* form_data ;
const char* val ;
const char* key = "some-form-field" ;
/* get the whole table */
form_vars = APR_RETRIEVE_OPTIONAL_FN(form_data) ;
if ( form_vars ) {
form_data = form_vars(r) ;
}
/* or get individual values */
form_lookup = APR_RETRIEVE_OPTIONAL_FN(form_value) ;

The Blowfish cipher
The Blowfish cipher in C and i386 assembler. more>>
In cryptography, Blowfish is a keyed, symmetric block cipher, designed in 1993 by Bruce Schneier and included in a large number of cipher suites and encryption products. While no effective cryptanalysis of Blowfish has been found to date, more attention is now given to block ciphers with a larger block size, such as AES or Twofish.
Schneier designed Blowfish as a general-purpose algorithm, intended as a replacement for the aging DES and free of the problems associated with other algorithms. At the time, many other designs were proprietary, encumbered by patents or kept as government secrets. Schneier has stated that, "Blowfish is unpatented, and will remain so in all countries. The algorithm is hereby placed in the public domain, and can be freely used by anyone."
