pgmhisteq is a project that can equalize the contrast in a portable graymap.
This program implements the "HistEq" function from the xv color editor for pgm files. For most pictures, it enhances the contrast noticeably. The effect is that after processing, for each x between 0 and 100, x percent of the image will have a brightness of at most x percent.
The program needs the pbmplus libraries.

FlexPlaylist for Noatun 0.4.9
FlexPlaylist is an attempt to create a playlist for Noatun. more>>
FlexPlaylist project can create a playlist for Noatun that suits users used to WinAmp XMMS style playlists.
Many people just dont use Noatun because they dont like the playlists and thus I decided to make my own one.
Main features:
- Choose own Font and Size instead of KDE-defaults
- Optionally can hide menubar, list-header, statusbar and toolbar to save space
- Show icon in first column
- Context-sensitive menu (also known as rightclick popupmenu) for common actions
- Use extended m3u playlistformat as native format instead of slower xml (itll still be able to load xml-playlists)
- Configurable keyboard-shortcuts for most actions
- Use alternating colors in listview (as seen in kmail and other kde-applications)
- Statusbar showing playtime of currently played title, overall playlist time and no. of playlist items
- Optional show some play controls in the statusbar
- Dockmode, user chooses the window to dock to
- "Jump to" dialog that lets you easily find files in huge playlists
- Autoresize columns, time takes as much space as needed, title column takes the rest
- Ignores files that cant be played by Noatun when trying to add them to the list
Enhancements:
- This release uses a more natural order when adding folders recursively (it dives into sub-folders before adding files from the current folder).
- The GUI uses standard icons for player controls in the status bar, and draws player controls in the status bar using drawing functions provided by the current KDE/Qt style.
- There are also some minor packaging changes (header checks and Debian packaging support).

Construct 2.00
Construct is a python module for defining arbitrary data structures. more>>
Construct is a python module for defining arbitrary data structures. Once a data structure (aka, "construct") is defined, it can be used to both parse raw data into an object and build an object into raw data.
Unlike most parsers, it works at the bit-level, so you dont need to worry about parsing individual bits or unaligned fields.
Construct library supports Fields, Unions, Structs and Repeaters; Adapters and Validators; Switches, Pointers and other Meta -constructs.
Main features:
- Symmetrical -- constructs can be used to parse as well as to build
- Bit-level -- can parse and build individual bits, not only bytes
- Ready -- lots of predefined primitives and common protocols definitions, which you can easily use
- Extensible -- you can easily write user-defined constructs by simply by subclassing
- Fast -- benchmarks on my machine show ~160KB/sec can be parsed, fast enough for most situations, and perhaps pysco can improve that
- Declarative -- no procedural code needed for most situations
Enhancements:
- Construct2 is a rewrite of the library, making it faster and much slimmer.
- The library is now byte-oriented instead of bit-oriented, so it uses eight times less memory.
- It can parse files directly from the disk.
- Meta constructs now use lambda instead of eval.
- Textual processing (context free grammar) was added.
- On-demand parsing was added.
- Thorough unit tests were added.
- A full online tutorial is available.

PHP Big Brother Hosts Configurator (phpBBHC) is a collection of PHP scripts and one C program to configure hosts
for the Big Brother network monitoring software. It doesnt cover all the possible settings for Big Brothers hosts file but it should be enough for

of phpBBHC being used to configure Hobbit.

AFU Knoppix 3.7
The AFU Knoppix CD contains software for the operating modes of PSK31, RTTY, SSTV, FAX, APRS and packet radio. more>>
The AFU Knoppix CD contains software for the operating modes of PSK31, RTTY, SSTV, FAX, APRS and packet radio. Additional applications for Sat tracking, logging, locator referencing and antenna computation are also included.
The idea for this CD came in April 2003 after a lecture by Klaus Knopper during the Ulmer Linux Expo.
The CD is targeted for radio enthusiasts, the Linux operating system and the applications on this CD are structured so that they can run from the CD without effecting the installed existing system software. *
Surely Linux for most radio amateurs may be an unfamiliar operating system. Most computer users however have no problems with the use of the programs or the KDE Desktops as it configures easy via the KDE menu - > KNOPPIX.

XScanMaster 0.6
XScanMaster is a program to control lights using DMX512. more>>
XScanMaster is a program to control intelligent lights using DMX512, based on the fixture library from GrandMA-firmware. The DMX512 output is done using DMX4Linux, which offers support for most common interfaces and many DMX512 lines.
Also included are functions to control fixtures movements in calibrated reference environments. More than one reference setting can be added to any fixture, and any fixture can be selected to run in one of its reference environments or not.
In the environment the user can control the fixture in different coordinate systems. Sceens and cues can be recorded on a fixture:feature base.
Both can be included in other sceens or cues. Playing sceens/cues can be done from one or more "replay units"; each replay unit can run any program at a given speed (beatcounters are included).

lsd mount utilities 1.4
lsd mount utilities project assist in setting up (creating) and mounting encrypted loopback file systems in Linux 2.4 and 2.6. more>>
lsd mount utilities project assist in setting up (creating) and mounting encrypted loopback file systems in Linux 2.4 and 2.6.
They also enable users (not just root) to mount encrypted file systems if appropriate entries have been added to /etc/fstab.
Enhancements:
- The installation footprint has been reduced by a factor of around 2.3.
- Formerly separate programs have been gathered into a single one.
- The name under which the program is installed was changed.
- The tool verbosity was greatly reduced (since standard error is now suppressed for most of the probing with external tools).
- To get a partial trace of the things happening internally (e.g. which external programs are invoked) you can now set the environment variable lsd_lama_trace=verbose.

mod_ecgi
mod_cgi turns CGI program into a dynamically loaded library (.so) and runs it without forking. more>>
mod_cgi is an Apache module that turns a CGI program into a dynamically loaded library (.so) and runs it without forking. Gives the simplicity and portability of CGI without the overhead.
There is no documentation, beyond the source code comments. It will build cleanly with Apache 1.3b6+, and youll need some configuration: e.g.
AddHandler mod_ecgi .so
or
AddType x-embedded-cgi .so
As I said, see the source file.
Theres also a small harness for CGI programs, to get round the way many sloppy CGIs never return but call exit() instead. Its not absolutely necessary, but for most purposes youll want it.
