Fontlinge project is a font management and organisation for TrueType & PostScript.
Fontlinge searches for font files, sorts them into folders by name and look and with human readable names, stores gathered font information in a database, generates previews and posters, finds and removes duplicates, and reunites PostScript font families.
Also, Fontlinge has a Web interface to browse through your fonts. It shows detail previews and font info, provides font download as a tarball, and has the possibility to sort fonts.

gFTP is a free multithreaded file transfer client for *NIX based machines running X11R6 or later. gFTP has text and GTK+ 1.2/2.x interfaces and supports the FTP, FTPS (control connection only), HTTP, HTTPS, and SSH protocols and has FTP and HTTP proxy server support. lftpsearch is a set of Perl scripts that are searching for files and directories on FTP servers. There is the searcher, the indexer for getting the lists of all the files and directories at remote FTP servers, and the onliner for checking whether FTP servers are online.

It supports (or >) and in search queries, page splitting at search results, searching on online servers only, searching for files/directories only, searching for size limited files, caching, and Russian names.

lftpsearch program also shows some statistics on servers (files/directories amount, total size). Initially, it was created to be used over LANs.

Its an IRC bot coded in C++, being started in C. Its main advantage is that several bots can run simultaneously in the same process, making it ideal for shells where the background processes are limited, but not the connections.
