FastNZB is a client for the popular nzbget server. It makes sending NZB (*.nzb) files to your NZBget server easy.

NeoBio project consists of Bioinformatics algorithms in Java.

What algorithms? The current version consists mainly of (pairwise) sequence alignment algorithms such as the classical dynamic programming methods of Needleman & Wunsch (global alignment) and Smith & Waterman (local alignment).

Anything else? Yes, a more efficient approach, due to Crochemore, Landau and Ziv-Ukelson is also available.

It uses Lempel-Ziv compression to speed-up the computation of the dynamic programming matrix. It also relies on the SMAWK algorithm, due to Aggarwal et al., that computes all column maxima of a totally monotone matrix in linear time.

Hum... And all sequence alignment algorithms support simple scoring schemes as well as substitution matrices such as standard BLOSUM and PAM matrices. But so far they support constant gap penalty functions only.

Future versions may contain related algorithms such as multiple sequence alignment, database search and protein structure prediction.

Wow...Last but not least, NeoBio also provides a simple GUI and command line based tools to run the sequence alignment algorithms on DNA and protein sequences.

Sectoo Linux attempts to provide an up-to-date and easy-to-use set of security tools.
Main features:
- Vulnerability Scanning : Sectoo Linux provides you base services such as port scanning using Nmap. You can then gather banner informations, looking for versions of services installed, and discover some exploits using Nessus. You can also use this to test what your IDS can pick up and what it cant.
- Network Analysis : Using a standard sniffer like TCPDump or Ethereal/Wireshark, you can see whats going through a network in terms of protocols and content. And by using tools like p0f, you can achieve passive OS fingerprinting like never !
- Security Research : Want to learn how to achieve this or that type of attack ? How to conduct other types of spoofing attacks ? Using Sectoo and reading the manpages for the tools (youll certainly have to search what tool & what manpage !), youll learn how. But be warned : Use of these tools in production environments is highly discouraged and could get you fired, or arrested in some countries.
- Secure Connectivity : Sectoo Linux is including OpenSSH, for securely administrating remote systems...

How to install?

• Right click on your desktop and select Change Desktop Background
• Click on the first tab: Theme
• Drag and drop the themes archive in the Appearance Preferences window.
• If everything is OK, you will receive a confirmation message and you can activate the theme just by clicking on it.

The CSound Front-End provides CSound users with a GUI with a clean and efficient layout.

The main window has been redesigned. The engine input frame is a mutant widget that can accomodate different styles of input selection (in the picture we have orc/sco pair, all-in-one .csd file and orc/generator) as well as most kinds of orc/sco pre-processing.

At the moment you switch from between the input frames using the +/- buttons (ugly!). Settings are saved separately for each frame. From the programmers point of view, writing a pre-processing plug-in now means to write a new engine input frame class.

The option window is still the same. As general GUI design guide line, Im trying to use few complex windows instead of 10s of little windows.

As side effect of the routing re-design, the logger window as been simplified. From the only menu available you can still start an external generator, assigning the logged engine as default route.
