fid-listbuffer 0.1.3

fid-listbuffer 0.1.3

fid-listbuffer is a buffer implementation for the Frigand Imperial Desktop. more>>
fid-listbuffer is a buffer implementation for the Frigand Imperial Desktop. Fid buffers are typically mutable monoids over particular unit types; the exact unit type and the equations satisfied by the monoid determine the particular buffer type.
This package defines a parametric buffer type for the simple case of a free monoid over a unit type that is to be exposed to the programmer, where replaceableRegion additionally is equivalent to ( r d -> return True).
Enhancements:
- This release maintains compatibility with fid-core 0.2.

libgnurdf is a GNUpdate RDF library that provides quick and easy access to RDF (XML Resource Description Format) files. more>>
libgnurdf is a GNUpdate RDF library that provides quick and easy access to RDF (XML Resource Description Format) files.

Libgnurdf makes it easy to create, modify, and search RDF files from any C/C++ (and soon Perl and Python) programs. GNUpdate uses this to access its database and to generate queries for online package databases running gnups.

Libgnurdf works with both libxml1 (tested with libxml v1.8.10 and up) and libxml2 (tested with libxml 2.3.8). The necessary version is detected during configure.

libMAGE 0.1.3

libMAGE 0.1.3

libMAGE is a Multi-Agent Grid Engine library. more>>
libMAGE is a Multi-Agent Grid Engine library. libMAGE library an experiment aimed to make a programming tool for creation of autonomic systems. We define autonomic system as the system that has the following features:

- The system is composed from a set of intellectual agents. All decision-making in the system is distributed and has a form of self-organization.
- The system is able to adapt to the surrounding environment. This includes adaptation to CPU, memory and disk load, and node failure (self-healing). The system is allowed to allocate additional nodes or redistribute current resources.

In libMAGE every agent of the system can be viewed as a living cell in a biological organism. Every agent contains enough information for construction of the whole organism, however after going through the process of growth, which mimics morphogenesis, the agent gets specialized. Specialized agents form groups and function cooperatively.

C-Pluff 0.1.3

C-Pluff 0.1.3

C-Pluff is a plug-in framework for C programs. more>>
C-Pluff is a plug-in framework for C programs. The project has been strongly inspired by the Java plug-in framework in Eclipse. C-Pluff focuses on providing core services for plug-in interaction and plug-in management.

It aims to be platform neutral and supports dynamic changes to plug-in configuration without stopping the whole application or framework. It does not yet provide special facilities for distribution such as signed plug-in packages or remote plug-in repositories but it is possible to build such features on top of the current framework.

The current C-Pluff implementation and documentation is very much work in progress so it should be considered early alpha stage software. I will be updating the documentation and source distribution on this site very frequently as I proceed with documentation and implementation.

HistView 0.1.3

HistView 0.1.3

HistView takes an ASCII changelog as input and outputs a formatted HTML page. more>>
HistView application takes an ASCII changelog as input and outputs a formatted HTML page.

When developing some piece of software, one usually records its development history in an ASCII file, preceding all changes with a "hint" of the kind of change - such as an "+" for a new addition, or a "!" for a bug fix. After a while, one decides to release the package. And a while later the question arises, how to present the latest changes to users who wish to see the list of changes first to decide whether its worth to update. At this moment, one can just place the plain text file somewhere accessible on the net - but wouldnt it look smarter to have it formatted as a nice HTML document? If you would like this, but dont want to waste time rewriting the history in HTML, HistView ist for you: it just reads in the history file, and formats it in HTML. Provided you use a style similiar to what I do.

G-Star 0.1.3

G-Star 0.1.3

G-Star project is a clone of the TI-8x calculator game D-Star. more>>
G-Star project is a clone of the TI-8x calculator game D-Star which are all clones of an HP48 game of the same name.

G-Star currently includes 25 levels: 20 from the HP48 version, and 5 from the TI-83 version of the game. I am planning on adding additional levels to the game as well as some new rules.

In G-Star you control two pieces: the circle and the square. Your goal is to get all of the stars on the level by moving the circle over them. The difficult part is that the pieces are unable to stop themselves once they begin moving.

Once they are set in motion (by you), they continue to move until they run into something. Currently there is no score tracking, but I will probably base the score on the number of moves it takes you to complete a level and the amount of time it takes.

Fid Core Library 0.2

Fid Core Library 0.2

Fid Core Library is the core library for the Frigand Imperial Desktop. more>>
Fid Core Library is the core library for the Frigand Imperial Desktop, a genuine Unix desktop environment based around multiprocessing, text-stream IPC, and the "everything is a file" concept.
It supports Emacs-like extensibility, customizability, and built-in multi-buffer support.
Enhancements:
- This release adds testing support for the axioms over buffer implementations and user interfaces, a better implementation of interactive, and a new cursor movement mechanism that allows the user interface to manage point itself (and, hence, keep it always on a widget).

citygen 0.1.3

citygen 0.1.3

citygen project is a medieval city/kingdom demographics generator. more>>
citygen project is a medieval city/kingdom demographics generator.
citygen is a program which creates Medieval city and kingdom demographics. The demographics are completely configurable with options to force certain professions and to limit specific buildings. Its very handy for AD&D and other RPGs.
Shortly after releasing that program, citygen, I was asked if I would make a graphical version. I wanted to learn GTK programming under linux so I started out with a simple program to get the basics, GODR: The GTK Ochre Dice Roller. After finishing that, I wrote the GTK frontend of citygen, now known as GROCK: GTK Reorganized Ochre City and Kingdom generator.
Main features:
- GTK City/Kingdom Generator
- Console based City/Kingdom Generator
- GTK Dice Roller
Enhancements:
- city.c had a bug that would cause it to segfault

ezxdisp is a simple graphics library that works on the X11 and Win32 platforms. ezxdisp library has a small set of functions for drawing simple 2D/3D graphics.
For example, following code will create a 100x100 window with white background, and will draw red circle in the centre of the window.
#include "ezxdisp.h"
int main(int argc, char *argv[])
{
ezx_t *e;
e = ezx_init(100, 100, "Hello, ezxdisp.");
ezx_set_background(e, &ezx_white);
ezx_fillcircle_2d(e, 50, 50, 25, &ezx_red, 1);
ezx_redraw(e);
sleep(3);
ezx_quit(e);

Atli 0.1.3

Atli 0.1.3

Atli is a scripting language interpreter. more>>
Atli is a scripting language interpreter originally meant to be a quick way to develop a particular applications scripting language.
Atli can also be used to write shell-like scripts to do tasks. Atli is a weakly typed language in which variables do not need to be declared before use.
All variables are stored as strings and converted between string and number form automatically.
Atli provides interfaces to cooperate with applications, so applications can exchange data and instructions with atli through a callback function.
Installation:
atli can be compiled by gcc 3.3 and its later version. The typically steps are:
$cd $atli
$./configure
$make
$su -c make install
NOTE: When run the program "atli", you may get message complain that libatlidll.so.0 can not be found. The following steps is required as root:
#cd /etc
#vi ld.so.conf
// add one line: /usr/local/lib to /etc/ld.so.conf
#ldconf
The release tar file contains the binary executable files in the fold $atli/bin/linux. I uses Fedora-2 to compile it.
Enhancements:
- Some overflow bugs are fixed.
- The keyword "load" has been added to load dynamic libraries on Windows or Linux.
- This release differentiates among atli-function-call, lib-function-call, and application-function-call.
- It calls the types function in lib: double function-name (double).
