Feedbackd is a client/server system to add dynamic server health feedbackd to the Linux Virtual Server load balancing system. A master and an agent process are provided to run on the director and servers (respectively) to provide the feedback.
Feedbackd is an add-on to the Linux Virtual Server project (LVS) to provide dynamic feedback of server health. Feedbackd is open source software, released under the GNU General Public Licence (GPL).
By sending server load information to a LVS-based director, feedbackd can help to stabilise request workload, improving performance and reliability.
Enhancements:

X11 Disk Activity Feedback shows disk activity by animating the X11 cursor.

It provides a visual feedback of local disk activity by changing the default X11 mouse pointer to an animated wheel.

Installation:

Untar and change into the new directory and:

# xmkmf
# make
# make install

Dedalo allows the automatic drawing of the topology of a Cisco network utilizing CDP and SNMP.

Dedalo was created as a project for the course "Complements of network management" held by Dr. Luca Deri.

Inside the tarball is a pdf which contains the instructions for the compilation and its use (unfortunately its in italian, if you have problems compiling or using it send me an email).

During testing I noticed that it doesnt work on Catalyst 6500s, the topology isnt drawn well due of some inconsistencies on the port names announced via CDP.

fbpanel is desktop panel which provides graphical information and feedback about desktop activity and allows interaction with the window manager.

libacarsd is an ACARSD decoder library. Although there is no warranty provided with libacarsd, I would welcome any comments, problem reports and other feedback you may have concerning this software.

You may include libacarsd in any non-commercial product. Generally you should refer expressly to your use of libacarsd in the documentation or the tips to your program. If you want to use libacarsd in a commercial application, please get in touch by mail to acarsd_at_acarsd.org

I can only guarantee that libacarsd occupies disk space and is virus-free in the original package. It is impossible to guarantee that any software functions correctly, since errors can never be excluded. Libacarsd has been successfully tested for months on different Windows and Linux systems, so problems should be quite rare.
