Hextris is Tetris with stones made of hexagons.
It takes some time to get used to the hexagon board but its worth it.

The aim of the game is to score as high as possible. So here are some score hints:
- Moving down stones manually scores more than waiting until stones move automatically.
- Playing in higher levels scores more than playing in lower levels. If you start in a higher level then you stay there as long as it takes to reach that level from level 1. So if you feel comfortable in say level 3 then its better to start in level 3.
- The score for removed lines depends on the number of simultaneously removed lines and grows quarely, i.e. filling 2 lines with one stones brings 2 times the score of filling 2 lines seperately. 3 times for 3 lines etc.

Prothon is a new dynamic object-oriented language that improves upon the excellent language Python. While not compatible with Python, Prothon is close enough for Python code to be easily ported to Prothon.

Over time the Python language has been enhanced while maintaining compatibility with earlier versions. This process has resulted in complex features such as the metaclass. Even Python experts admit that metaclasses are brain-achingly complex.

Also, Pythons existing codebase has kept it from taking full advantage of its own new features such as iterators, generators, and properties. Pythons creator and other Python experts also have a laundry list of features in Python that they wish could be changed. Prothon, by breaking compatibility with Python, is able to fix most of these problems in a clean, fresh new start.

Prothon is built upon the more flexible foundation of Prototypes rather than the classes of Python, while still fully supporting classes. This allows other object paradigms than classes to be used like acquisition and maybe even aspects.

Prothon is built on top of .Net from Microsoft and the compatible Mono from Novell (for Linux). This stable architecture has an unmatched runtime library available. .Net also allows Prothon to interoperate with many other languages and tools.

OverLook is a branch of the famous e-mail client SquirrelMail, transformed for being an usable application also by a less expert user, accustomed using other tools for the management of his mail.
OverLook Webmail has not been only changed the skin, but the usability of the entire interface, that its now more intuitive, fast and efficient.

Rules of play:
- In the beginning of game you have 12 checkers (men).
- The men move forward only. The men can capture:
- by jumping forward only (english rules);
- by jumping forward or backward (russian rules).
- A man which reaches the far side of the board becomes a king.
- The kings move forward or backward:
- to one square only (english rules);
- to any number of squares (russian rules).
- The kings capture by jumping forward or backward.
- Whenever a player is able to make a capture he must do so.
Enhancements:

driveplugger is a removable storage manager that safely puts control into the hands of the user. driveplugger project makes devices such as USB drives, CDROMs, or any other removable media easy to use. The user can assign names to devices. Browsing, ejection, and other operations can be done through a tray icon.
How it Works
DrivePlugger uses the linux hotplug mechanism to pass information about plug/unplug events (and a secure tag) on to the user agent.
The user agent will then either ask the user what to do, or run an action previously chosen by the user. If the device is to be mounted, the user agent will run a suid script to add an entry to fstab, and then mount the drive under ~/Devices/< devicename >.
Through a tray icon, you can easily change user preferences and device settings, as well as unmount media or see (and kill) processes locking the media.
If youre a security expert, youre probably freaking out by now. Included in the package is a SECURITY file, detailing the risks associated with running DrivePlugger, as well as what Ive done to reduce them.

A decompiler takes as input an executable file, and attempts to create a high level, compilable, possibly even maintainable source file that does the same thing.
It is therefore the opposite of a compiler, which takes a source file and makes an executable. However, a general decompiler does not attempt to reverse every action of the decompiler, rather it transforms the input program repeatedly until the result is high level source code. It therefore wont recreate the original source file; probably nothing like it.
It does not matter if the executable file has symbols or not, or was compiled from any particular language. (However, declarative languages like ML are not considered.)
The intent is to create a retargetable decompiler (i.e. one that can decompile different types of machine code files with modest effort, e.g. X86-windows, sparc-solaris, etc). It was also intended to be highly modular, so that different parts of the decompiler can be replaced with experimental modules. It was intended to eventually become interactive, a la IDA Pro, because some things (not just variable names and comments, though these are obviously very important) require expert intervention. Whether the interactivity belongs in the decompiler or in a separate tool remains unclear.
By transforming the semantics of individual instructions, and using powerful techniques such as Static Single Assignment dataflow analysis, Boomerang should be (largely) independent of the exact behaviour of the compiler that happened to be used. Optimisation should not affect the results. Hence, the goal is a general decompiler.
Version restrictions:
- In case you want to try Boomerang as it is as a decompiler (as opposed to experimenting with it, or improving it), be aware of its severe limitations. As of early 2004, Boomerang will only decompile X86 (Linux/X86 or Windows PE), SPARC (Solaris, or presumably Linux/SPARC), or Power PC (Linux/PPC or Mac OS/X) programs. In particular, note that it will not decompile DOS or NE (Windows 3.1) programs. Adding another processor is a large (several month) undertaking.
- It will only generate C, not C++. It will decompile C++ programs of course, (and any sorts of programs, including assembler). You may be able to hand edit some C++ programs into usable C++ source code. For MSVC compiled programs, at present you have to spoonfeed the decompiler and tell it that there is one register parameter (thiscall calling convention). The switches to handle this are complex; see using the -sf switch.
