Icon execute feedback replaces the zooming rectangle that is drawn if you activate an icon in konqueror for execution feedback. It removes the rectangle and instead zooms the icon bigger and fades it out while doing. Its like MacOS X execution feedback.
Currently works in Konqueror, Kicker and all file dialogs. You will need a machine > 600 MHz for this though, else the
animation may be slow.
This is a patch against kdebase-3.5.6 and kdelibs-3.5.6
So you have to recompile the two packages. Please only do
that if you are experienced enough with recompiling KDE.
Apply the patches as follows:
1. Get kdebase-3.5.6
2. Get kdelibs-3.5.6
3. Get this patch
4. Unpack all archives
5. Change to the dir you unpacked kdelibs
6. Execute "patch -p1 7. Recompile kdelibs
8. Install kdelibs (necessary as some header files changed)
9. Change to the dir you unpacked kdebase
7. Execute "patch -p1 8. Recompile kdebase
9. Install kdebase
10. Logout of kde and then login again.
11. Watch the icons zooming

ClusTerm is used to SSH into a cluster of systems and execute the same command on all the systems.
It combines a number of Gnome Terminal Widgets (VTE) in a single graphical window and copies the input to one terminal to all other terminals.
ClusTerm project shows the differences between different terminals. Different layouts: table, row, column, and notebook. It is a GNOME application based on libvte.
Enhancements:
- The current active session can now be saved as a launcher (.desktop file).
- Another scenario where highlighting would fail was fixed.

Mozilla Quickstarter is an small kde utility that runs in the SystemTray and runs a hidden instance of Mozilla.
You can execute navigato or mail program from Mozilla Quickstarter. As I am a beginner kde programmer, its based on the original code of another application: OpenOffice.org Quickstarter.
Main features:
- Runs a hide instance of Mozilla
- You can launch navigator and mail.
- Autostart when launching Kde.

ShellTer is an iptables-based firewall. What sets it apart from the rest is that it has built-in SSH brute force protection.
ShellTer project is easy to configure and has an interactive CLI installer.
To install ShellTer, simply execute the "installer" file in this directory.

pokertimer project is just a very little script for poker-turnaments.

Just execute the file. (You may want to configure the file to fit your desired blind-structure).

General Graphics User Interface is an effort to produce a common graphical user interface for any command-line program.

It uses a wizard-like input front end to collect the information needed. It then calls the desired program automatically with all the necessary options.

The user is able to point&click on various options and select them in a convenient way. In order to create a new user-interface, a user doesnt need to know a programming language, since there is a graphical editor for new GGUI "scripts".

BotsnScouts project is a multiplayer network strategy game.

Robots make a race through an old factory. Robots dont move like human beings would do - they have to be programmed and execute their programm afterwards. Bad luck if some other robot comes along and pushes you - your programm will still be executed... And maybe youll race faster if you use the conveyer belts... And dont fall into pits!

The game is inspired by the board game Roborally by Wizards of the Coast(TM). BotsnScouts is based on the idea of the game, but its different. It is a much faster game (thanks to our scout). Roborally is more communicative and has more challenges like option cards that e.g. provide weapons.

mmixer is console based, perl audio mixer. You will need to have Term-Screen and Audio-Mixer perl modules (also you will need Term::ANSIColor module, wich probably is included in your perl distribtion by default) . Look in the documentation section for information how to install perl modules. It was tested on Peanut Linux and Slackware Linux .

Install:
do the following:
# tar xfvz mmixer-1.2.tar.gz
# cd mmixer-1.2

now as root:
# cp ./mmixer /usr/bin/
