Disable - Enable Touchpad 1.0

Disable - Enable Touchpad 1.0

Disable - Enable Touchpad is a very very simple servicemenu to disable or enable your touchpad. more>>
Disable - Enable Touchpad is a very very simple servicemenu to disable or enable your touchpad (e.g. if sometimes you use a USB mouse, the touchpad may become annoying).

Notice: it only works if it is a *synaptic* touchpad

There are plenty of ways to disable your touchpad, for example through the comamnds synclient TouchpadOff=1 or synclient TouchpadOff=0 which is exactly what this servicemenu does.

At reboot, this setting is reset and touchpad is enabled by default. If you want to disable it permanently, you can comment the touchpad section in /etc/X11/xorg.conf

USAGE:

1) copy the file Disable_Enable_Touchpad.desktop in the KDE servicemenus folder, that is located in /home/your_username/.kde/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus

OR

2) just leave the file Disable_Enable_Touchpad.desktop in same folder and right click it; on "action" youll find the touchpad entry

Syntax

btfilter [OPTIONS] mac-address [channel]

Options:

Wirble 0.1.0

Wirble 0.1.0

Wirble is a set of enhancements for Irb. more>>
Wirble project is a set of enhancements for Irb. Wirble enables several items mentioned on the RubyGarden "Irb Tips and Tricks" page, including tab-completion, history, and a built-in ri command, as well as colorized results and a couple other goodies.

The idea, of course, is to fill Irb with useful features without turning your ~/.irbrc file into swiss cheese. Using Wirble is simple, too. Heres what a standard Wirble-enabled ~/.irbrc looks like:

# load libraries
require rubygems
require wirble

# start wirble (with color)
Wirble.init
Wirble.colorize

Dont like the defaults? Wirble is configurable. For documentation on enabling specific features or tweaking the color settings.

SunflowerApplet 0.7

SunflowerApplet 0.7

SunflowerApplet changes the shadow on the windows managed by compiz when the decorator plugin is enabled. more>>
SunflowerApplet changes the shadow on the windows managed by compiz when the decorator plugin is enabled.
The shadow on the window moves from left to right from 6am to 6pm, and stays static from 6pm to 6am, as if the shadow is being cast by the "sun" moving right to left over your windows. This is just a toy.
SunflowerApplet requires compiz to be the window manager and the compiz decorator plugin to be active.
Enhancements:
- Use Stock Close button on Preferences Window
- Place dot on map for chosen location
- Create SunflowerApplet.server as part of the configure process
- Graphical location picker

SpeedySu is a modification of SpeedyCGI (a.k.a. PersistentPerl) so that it works with suEXEC-enabled Apache Web servers.

Both Apache 1.3.x and 2.y running on UNIX systems are supported. SpeedyCGI speeds up Perl scripts (CGI or not) so that they remain running persistently, thus reducing the startup times of subsequent executions.

SpeedySu extends SpeedyCGI by allowing ~UserDir CGI scripts started by Apache execute with the privileges of their owner user. SpeedySu project has other improvements in addition to suEXEC support.
