XMMS Plugin for Ogle DVD Player is an XMMS plugin, that allows it to play DVDs, using Ogle DVD Player as a backend.

All this packages are original and I didnt make any modifications :

1.) To install all type ./install

2.) To clean all type ./distclean

3.) Check if there is a dvd device (/dev/dvd)

4.) To play DVD make a plain file with extension .dvd (i.e. Ogle.dvd) and open it with XMMS.

CAMP is a complete interface for MP3 players such as mpg123, xaudio, and amp. It is designed for the console using ANSI graphics, and also supports skins.
To compile and install the camp-source, you should type the following commands:
./configure
make
make install
cp skins.tar ~/.camp
cd ~/.camp
tar xvf skins.tar
Make sure to edit "/.camp/camprc" in your homedirectory to point the player variable to mpg123 or any other command-line mp3 player. CAMP is known to compile and run under any linux distribution. older versions did also compile under SunOS, but I havent cared to test newer version. It does also compile under *BSD, but i think the keys are fucked-up, and I will use ncurses for reading keys, as soon as I feel like rewriting that.

SoundCard Plugin is an input plugin for XMMS which enables to read audio data directly from the soundcard.

Using the plugin you can now use your computer with the XMMS player as a powerful sound processor with any of XMMS effect plugins, such as, equalizer or echo effects.

In particular, this plugin in combination with the FIR filter plugin enables you to use your PC as a DSP to process audio data in real-time using long FIR filters without any need for dedicated DSP hardware.

FmpegPlayer is an MP3/MPEG/audio CD player for Linux. It combines smpeg, SDL, mpg123, and gtkhtml in an original way. It contains a built-in browser for radio channels from shoutcast.com, allowing you to listen to a channel directly in your player with a single click.

There is also a "jukebox" function that allows you to queue up files in a secondary playlist. The songs in the jukebox-list will be played and then removed from the jukebox-playlist, but they will remain in the original playlist. Other features are: CDDB-support for audio CDs, a track editor for audio CDs, a 16-band graphical EQ, and a dockable applet.

AMmP is a Multimedia Player which uses GTK+ 2. It currently supports audio CDs, MP3, and MPEG videos.

This is a simple help to use AMmP.
To load a media, click on the "eject symbol" button...
You can select more that one media by holdding or key.
If youve cdaudio in the main ("dev/cdrom") cd tray, a new button will appear in the media browser : Probe cd which open a new window where you can choose cd track you want to add to the playlist !
To view current playlist, click on the "left align symbol" button.

Whaaw! Media Player is an audio/video player using gstreamer (like totem but without GNOME dependencies).

Whaaw! Media Player will play any audio/video files which gstreamer can play. It supports fullscreen mode, seeking, changing video colour settings and more. It is inteded to be a basic media player similar to totem.
