Whats New in This Release:

After over 4 months of development Zenserver 0.5 has been released.

There have been a huge amount of changes since last release. Zenserver 0.5 features the 2.6.19.7 kernel with the GRSecurity patch, Lighttpd, PHP, Mysql, Bind, Postfix, Samba, full development tools, WebLua, and among many other things, ZSAdmin for effective and simple systems administration.

ZSAdmin is capable of: enabling web scripting languages for Lighttpd, system configuration, configuring Inetd, configuring Mysql, and more. I forgot to give this release a code name, but thanks to Borromini it can unofficially be called "Quirky

THC-WarDrive is a tool for mapping your city for wavelan networks with a GPS device while you are driving a car or walking through the streets.
THC-WarDrive is effective and flexible, a "must-download" for all wavelan nerds.
Enhancements:
- fixed a bug with the -W option, forgot to reset a variable. result: showed always the information of the first wvlan found.
- rewrote the GPS data gathering function. old way fucked up the exact location too often and generated a too-long backlog. nearly all GPS gathering tools have this bug btw. things learned: cutn paste from tools isnt always the best new function rules. bah.

Webconverger project is an evolution of the hybrid client for deployments in places like offices or Internet cafes where only Web applications are used.

The Project Logger provides a simple yet effective means for keeping people informed about the progress of projects, itineraries, or any sort of plans.

It combines the simplicity of blogging with dates, tasks, files, costs, and RSS feed modules to form a central broadcast point from which to keep people coordinated. How many times have problems occurred because of "I didnt know" or "I was unaware" or "When the #$% did that happen?"

The Project Logger solves this problem by making a tool that is first and foremost simple to use both from a publisher (how easy is it to enter information?) and from a subscriber (How easy is it to get to the information?) standpoint.

Netmon is a console application that monitors network interfaces. It displays the transfer rate (upload and download) for each device and the data consumed by each device.
The main features of netmon are low resource usage, a simple yet effective design, and an easy to understand tabular output.
It displays values whose units change dynamically to scale with the value. Its compact display fits in a 9x66 size terminal window.
Enhancements:
- This release implements force units on totals and data rates, and updates the man page.
- The update functions now detect dev file overflow so that calling a function doesnt have to.
- The get_xxRate functions now detect a time limit of 0.
- Bugfixes for this version include a modified structure and library to extend data limit overflow to greater than 1000 terabytes.
- The configuration double digit bug was also fixed.

Trim 1.0 is an effective utility for monitoring and controling the sizes of (log) files. Examines a text file to see if its length has exceeded a certain limit; if it has, Trim removes a certain number of lines from the beginning of the file. Ideal for use in crontab.

Xealous Nets is a set of programs that let you perform network calculations. Network calculations are useful and handy for the typical network administrator as they allow classful calculations and classless (CIDR) calculations, combining the functionality given by several online similar calculators in one single and portable package with a simple and effective command line interface.

Classful subnetting and supernetting is done with the xealous_classful program, which gives you information about class type, network and host bits, network and wildcard masks, etc. It also outputs the subnets or nets being combined in supernetting.

As the number of subnets can be pretty high (for example, when you input a class A network and use 30 bits for the mask), it also lets you specify how many nets or subnets to display, if any at all. Usage examples are presented when you run the program without arguments.

Classless calculations are done with the xealous_cidr program, which is inspired in the famous IPcalc program. As with the previous program, usage instructions are displayed when running the program without arguments.
