Eclipse plugin for Qt 1.0.3
Eclipse plugin for Qt manages the generation of Makefiles from .pro files and compilation with make. more>>
Eclipse plugin for Qt manages the generation of Makefiles from .pro files and compilation with make.
Eclipse plugin for Qt is experimental, which means there is currently a limited number of features. Yet, it should provide you with the basis for compiling a Qt project. It is based on CDT for the C++ part.
Unfortunately, CDT has not yet reached the level of usability of Eclipse for Java. This becomes particularly noticeable with Qt, in particular regarging code completion, which I had to disable (see Known bugs and limitations). Fortunately, the soon-to-be released Callisto project should make a big step in the good direction.
This plugin has been tested with Eclipse 3.1.2 and CDT 3.0.2. Testing with Callisto will be done after release candidates.
Main features:
- Project type for Qt
- Builder for managing qmake
- Dedicated console
- Problems reporting
- Editor for .pro files
- Configurable syntax highlighting
- Content assist for variables
- Problems reporting

EasyEclipse Plugin Warrior 1.3.0
EasyEclipse Plugin Warrior is for development of Eclipse Plugins. more>>
EasyEclipse Plugin Warrior is for development of Eclipse Plugins.
This distro contains the basic elements needed to work on Eclipse Plugins, either developing new ones or debuggin/editing existing ones. Over time, we will add more to it (releng, RCP DeltaPack), but for now it is relatively light - when you are a warrior, you pack lightly ;-).
This distribution includes the following plugins:
Core components with a JDK:
- Eclipse Platform 3.2.1 - Shared platform services from Eclipse.
- Eclipse Tools 3.2.1 - Common libraries for various Eclipse projects.

But after gimp became V1.0 I have rewriten this plugin, so this plugin would work again. Now, the Ellipse-Plugin works with gimp V1.0 and V1.1 (mybee it will work with other versions, too).
The best way to see what this plugin does, is to look at an example.

Eclipse Web Tools Platform Project 1.0
Eclipse Web Tools Platform Project is a top-level Eclipse project that contains tools for developing Java Web applications. more>>
Eclipse Web Tools Platform Project is a top-level Eclipse project that contains tools for developing Java Web applications.
The WTP project includes the following tools: source editors for HTML, Javascript, CSS, JSP, SQL, XML, DTD, XSD, and WSDL; graphical editors for XSD and WSDL; J2EE project natures, builders, and models and a J2EE navigator; a Web service wizard and explorer, and WS-I Test Tools; and database access and query tools and models.
Main features:
- Extension of the Eclipse value proposition The Eclipse Project has set a high standard for technical excellence, functional innovation and overall extensibility within the Java IDE domain. We intend to apply these same standards to the Web/J2EE application-tooling domain.
- Vendor ecosystem A major goal of this project is to support a vital application development tools market. Its exemplary functionality will be useful on its own but it will be designed from the start to be extensible so commercial vendors can use what this project delivers as a foundation for their own product innovation and development efficiency.
- Vendor neutrality Vendor neutrality will be at the core of this project. We aim to encourage Eclipse participation and drive Eclipse market acceptance by strengthening the long-term product value propositions of the widest possible range of application development vendors.
- Standards-based innovation This project will deliver an extensible, standards-based tooling foundation on which the widest possible range of vendors can create value-added development products for their customers and end-users. Where standards exist, we will adhere to them. At least, at first, where standards are emerging, we will wait for them to emerge; this can be re-evaluated later according to user needs and contributor availability. Where multiple technologies are widely used for a given functional need, we will attempt to support each, subject only to technical feasibility and our goal of providing the most capable and extensible foundation long term.
- Agile development Our aim is to incorporate into our planning process the innovations that arise once a project is underway, and the feedback from our user community on our achievements to date. We think an agile development and planning process, in which progress is incremental, near-term deliverables are focused, and long-term planning is flexible, will be the best way to achieve this.
- Inclusiveness & diversity We aim to assimilate the best ideas from the largest number of participants representing the needs of the widest range of end-users. So we will encourage organizations across a broad range of technical, market and geographical domains to participate in this project.

Eclipse Fieldviewer 1.0.0
Eclipse FieldViewer is a structured viewer component that displays data entry fields for model objects. more>>
Eclipse FieldViewer is a structured viewer component that displays data entry fields for model objects in a user defined, form based layout.
Eclipse FieldViewer is similar to the TableViewer component from JFace. Eclipse Fieldviewer separates the model from viewers in a similar way using Content- and Labelproviders to bind the data to the fields of the viewer. A Fieldviewer can display an array of similar elements. Unlike a tableviewer only a single element is shown at a time. The layout of the fields is not predefined as in a tableviewer.
This widget can be used in software using other JFace components (eg RCP applications).
Main features:
- interface similar to that of a JFace-TableViewer()
- ContentProvider(), LabelProvider() and Font-/ColorProvider()
- fields can display text and/or image
- ViewerSorter() and ViewerFilter()
- semi-automatic layout for simple requirements
- fully configurable layout of fields if necessary
- editable fields using standard CellEditors
Unlike a table viewer the Eclipse Fieldviewer is not a widget that has very unique features by itself. An experienced programmer can easily create the fields from scratch or use a tool for this task.
An Eclipse Fieldviewer widget is nice if you have to display data from a database where the user decides which element to display. It is also very well suited if you combine a Tableviewer()/TreeViewer() with a FieldViewer() and the user can decide how he wants the data displayed. Editable fields in these widgets use CellEditors to change the contents of the underlying model so the corresponding code can be reused and is not specifically tied to a single field.
<<lessEclipse FieldViewer is similar to the TableViewer component from JFace.
- ContentProvider(), LabelProvider() and Font-/ColorProvider()
- fields can display text and/or image
- ViewerSorter() and ViewerFilter()
- semi-automatic layout for simple requirements
- fully configurable layout of fields if necessary
- editable fields using standard CellEditors

Eclipse Wikipedia Editor Plugin is an Eclipse editor for the Wikipedia syntax. The project features syntax highlighting, source folding, outlining, uploading and downloading to and from the Web, and more.
Enhancements:
- It is now possible to add an extra "domain" entry into the login with the wpDomain name entry (this can be helpful for authentication in an extranet configuration with LDAP support).
- The refresh mechanisms of the internal wiki browser preview have changed.
- Every time you click into a new wiki editor, save the wikipedia text, or use a file with extension *.wp in the Eclipse package explorer, the browser views the rendered HTML output from the corresponding file in the /wpbin subdirectory.
