Free easy to use software for linux

Easy PHP Upload class (the old name) can be used to upload files with a client browser to a remote webserver location.
The features in the first release are: file-extension check, maximum file- size limitation and a flexible error reporting system. The class is extremely easy to use and comes together with full working examples. Sinds the second version is it possible to upload multiple files.
Check the class file for all update information. The version 2.22 (and higher) is compatible with the PHP directive "register_globals=off". NEW functions for the multiple upload function: rename files and filename validation.
With the updated (ver. 2.25) photo upload extension its possible to upload photos (logos) and resize them to the maximum X and Y size.
Enhancements:
- Two more languages (for the messages) were added to the class: Brazilian Portuguese and Bulgarian.
- All translations (except de, nl, en, and fr) are stored in external files.
- The new function to create non-existing directories was not working for the photo upload extension and has been fixed.
- The check_dir() method is more flexible now and can be used for more locations.
- The process_image() method from the photo_upload extension was modified to use this check now.

easygmap is an online map builder to create simple, easy-to-use maps with Google Maps.

The project allows the user to add markers to the map and optionally giving each marker a name, description, and picture. The finished map can then be sent to the email address of the users choice.

qrypto is a project aimed to provide simple, easy to use Blowfish encryption across popular languages for enhanced data security.

XML Toolkit provides an easy to use, very pythoninc approach to XML processing.
The current release of XML Toolkit is almost complete.

It is designed to be easy to use so that you spend less time setting up the server and so that more players have more time to enjoy gaming on it.

Eagle project is a python library to help GUI development.

Eagle is an abstraction layer atop Graphical Toolkits to make GUI programming as easy as possible. Eagle reaches this by narrowing whats possible to do and providing high level components with easy to use API.

Currently GTK and GTK/Hildon/Maemo are done.

Kuartet Desktop project aims to create a visually appealing, easy to use desktop built upon KDE.

Kuartet Desktop consists of a library written around Superkaramba that makes it easy to write desktop applets that are integrated within a centralized desktop theme, a set of very usable desktop applets, and graphical configuration tools.

The main desktop applet is the Kuartet Manager, which provides quick access to documents, applications, bookmarks, etc.

Kanola project is a basic KDE MPD client designed in Python.

The idea behind Kanola is that KDE needs a light, small, and easy to use MPD client that can compete with the numerous and very eye-pleasing GTK clients.
