Mars Simulation Project is a free software Java project to create a simulation of future human settlement of Mars.
The simulation is a multi-agent artificial society set in a detailed virtual world.
XML configuration files allow the user to modify the simulation properties.
The Mars Simulation Projects main window contains the following components:

The Mars Simulation Project can be configured with a number of XML configuration files located in the "conf/" directory. It is recommended that you save a backup copy of a configuration file before modifying it in case there is an error and the simulation cannot read the modified configuration file.
Here are the configuration files you can modify for the simulation. You will need to start a new simulation for any changes to be loaded in.

Installation:
Project Manager is simple to install:
- Extract All Files to the directory of your choice.
- FTP/Upload all the files to your server
- CHMOD 666 the file http://www.yourdomain.com/directoryname/application/includes/config.php and http://www.yourdomain.com/directoryname/.htaccess to allow the auto-install function to write information to these file.
- Point your browser to the file http://www.yourdomain.com/directoryname/
- Enter your SQL Database Hostname, Username, Password, Database Name.
- Enter the Password and Username of Your Choice for Accessing Cyberience Project Manager.
- Click the Update Button and The Database and Security Will Automatically Be Set Up
- Delete the install Directory
- Enjoy !

DaisyPlayer is a program for playing Digital Talking Books (DTB). The DaisyPlayer Projects main focus is to make a library with a small, easy-to-use API, making it easy for other developers to write their own daisy players without having much knowledge about the Daisy format and standards.

The Distributed Hardware Evolution Project allows the distribution of a genetic algorithm evolving hardware designs across the Internet by setting up an island on each clients PC which will evolve during idle time. Individuals from these islands will migrate between each other as they compete for survival.

All source code is available at Sourceforge under the projects named JaGa, DistrIT, and IslandEv. The source code is generalizable to any genetic algorithm or distributed processing task.
