Uberyl is Ubuntu + Beryl, and many other programs that makes Linux easy for all, mainly for beginners, but that does not reduce power for the advanced users. He is able to run beryl in a live-CD with Intel, Nvidia & Ati.

The project installs Songbird, Automatix, Envy, Emulators, Xara xtreme, youtranslator, navigator Avant window, apton-CD, ndiskgtk (wireless drivers tools) and many more.

Google Gears project is an open source Firefox extension that enables web applications to provide offline functionality using following JavaScript APIs:
- Store and serve application resources locally
- Store data locally in a fully-searchable relational database
- Run asynchronous Javascript to improve application responsiveness

pytags is a Python library capable of reading and writing MP3, FLAC and OGG file tags.

Being tired of having to use a different API calls for the main 3 media files in my library I created this library class. It utilizes pyid3lib, python-vorbis and python-flac as backends. None are required, however, it is up the program implementing the class to decide which backends are needed. Note this library has not been widely tested yet. It is just being subject to release early and release often. That being said I have not suffered any corruption during any part of the development besides perhaps the loss of tag data.

Given that the Vorbis and FLAC tags are wildly different from ID3 some liberties have been taken on my part. While ID3 is limited to one field of each data Vorbis/FLAC can have as many as you want. This library handles that by only returning the first match on a get query. (Perhaps in the future they will all be returned) On a set query the new item will just be added on to the others. Tagore project is a personal desktop wiki for GNOME.

Tagore lets you take notes using the textile syntax and display them with the embeded browser. You can add tags to your notes for easy organizing them and you can later export them to html.

phpWebPROXY provides a simple Web proxy written in PHP.

It allows you to run your Web surfing through your own Web server and bypass filters which may be between you and what you want to see.

It supports cookies, and its Web-based location bar lets you move around the Web easily.

Chotha is a blog client written in PyQt4. This is mainly for wordpress, will add support for others later. It is having basic HTML tag editing capabilities with saving blog entries locally in the system.

You can also save it as draft in the server. You can preview your entry either in Firefox or in Konqueror. Or else you can click and go to visual mode to see quick preview (without images).

Gwenhywfar is a multi-purpose library that provides useful functions such as configuration file handling, a full featured message generation and parsing engine, and an operating system abstraction layer.
Gwenhywfar is used by Libchipcard, OpenHBCI, AqMoney, and various other projects.

Ircproxy is a transparent IRC content filtering application. It may be used whenever there is a need for monitoring IRC connections.

irc-proxy may be used to deny specific connections or to examine suspicious IRC traffic.
