Free dvd to mp3 rippers software for linux

Dynamic MP3 Lister was a project I started a long time ago to create dynamic lists of MP3s quickly and easily.

Features MP3 Information extraction for things like bitrate, channels, playtime and more.

Please note that this script is discontinued, and is only shown here now as an example of my work.

DVD BacKup Express is a small Kommander Script to create a GUI for dvdbackup.

I made it because it can be run on any platform with kommander installed and dvdbackup available (which may be more platforms than kdvdbackup or other binary frontends are available for)

There is a lot of room for improvement here. Feel free to spruce it up a bit and send me the new .kmdr file and i will update this.

Winki The Ripper aims to be the easiest program for video encoding. It is actually just a graphical frontend for GNOME written in python to command line tools like mencoder, oggenc, mkvtoolnix, mplayer and lsdvd.
Please be advised that the use of some of the tools you need for "Winki the Ripper" may not be legal in some countries. Please check this out yourself for the country you live in. We strongly advise not to use illegal tools, but it is not our job to make sure in which country which of the possibly needed tools may be forbidden or restricted.

RipOff is a GTK+ based CD ripper for Linux (and hopefully for other Unix systems once some testing and fixing have been done) that has a simple interface, CDDB lookups, and a plugin-based encoder architecture.
RipOff CD Ripper attempts to appeal to those users who want a non-GNOME dependent CD ripper with a simple interface, or users who just dont like the interfaces of the other GTK+ CD rippers.

Lien Mp3 Player is a mp3 and audio cd player for GNU Linux console.
All you need is a Pentium 90 or faster computer (you can do mono output if you have slower computer), GNU Library 2.0 or above and ncurses 5.
The project was improved many many times by recommendation of users. Now it is even better than the one I have plan to do in the first place.

RipperX is a GTK program to rip CD audio and encode it into MP3, OGG, or FLAC files.
It can rip and encode in parallel, and has plugins for cdparanoia, BladeEnc, Lame, GoGo, FHG (l3enc and mp3enc), XingMp3enc, 8hz-mp3, and the ISO encoder.
RipperX also has support for CDDB and ID3v1 tags.

DVD Home Video Project is a tool that provides a simple, quick way to transform video on a DV camcorder into a fully functional DVD, including a menu with optional background images and music.

dvd::rip is a full featured DVD copy program written in Perl. It provides an easy to use but feature-rich Gtk+ GUI to control almost all aspects of the ripping and transcoding process.
dvd::rip project uses the widely known video processing swissknife transcode and many other Open Source tools. dvd::rip itself is licensed under GPL / Perl Artistic License.
