Getting Started

Sunrise requires Java 1.5. (Earlier Java versions will not work correctly due to issues with the java.nio library.)

Start Sunrise Desktop with the script "sunrise-desktop.sh".

Some documentation can be found in the "web" subdirectory.

Pidentd is a program that implements the RFC1413 identification server. It was very much inspired by Dan Bernsteins original authd (but unlike that program doesnt use netstat to get some of the information).
It uses the kernel information directly. (And is due to that fact a lot faster). Dan has now written another version of the authd daemon that uses his kstuff to read the kernel information.
Unlike that daemon, this will use only normally available kernel access functions (and is due to that more limited in the different machines it support).
Please note that this daemon used to be called pauthd but has changed name to better reflect what it does (and to conform to the new RFC).
Enhancements:
- Support for Solaris 10 on AMD64 was added and the 64-bit support was generalized for Solaris.
- A minor compilation problem in k_sunos510.c was fixed.

WMDsweeper project is a 3D minesweeper clone.

WMDsweeper is a 3D/2D-based minesweeper game. It has text-based and graphical interfaces for playing. Saving games, loading games, and configuring different skins are supported.

The game also offers extras such as saving, loading, and customising the games appearance and difficulty. It is currently still a fairly fresh project (under a year old, and not much worked on until recently). There is a MS Windows Binary available, and Linux source code available (with a precompiled binary thrown in).

Due to the age of the project the MS Windows and *nix versions are released independently, so you may have to go to an older release to get the latest Windows Binary.

iMaze project is a multiplayer, realtime, 3D, labyrinth run and shoot game.
iMaze is a multi-player network action game for TCP/IP with 3D graphics under X11 in which players runs through a labyrinth, trying to shoot other players and computer-controlled ninjas without being shot by them.
It features a sophisticated, reliable network protocol which works even with SLIP connections over modems.
Its windows can be freely scaled to avoid speed drawbacks due to poor display performance.

Horde Application Framework is written in PHP, and provides the common tools a Web application requires: classes for dealing with preferences, compression, browser detection, connection tracking, MIME, and more.
The Horde Framework does not provide any significant end user functionality and it provides a base for other applications and tools for developers. You will probably want to install some of the available Horde applications, such as IMP (a webmail client), or Kronolith (a calendar).

UDAT is a data format, offering a generic basis for data storage and transmission, while being both easily readable by humans and easily readable by machines. It is comparable to formats like XML or YAML, but due to simplicity it is much more easy to parse.

The RubyGems package "udat" contains a library for the ruby programming language to create and parse UDAT documents. UDAT was created especially for software developers.

This project is free for private and commercial use, no warranty, subject to the license agreement in the software.

DSniff project is a collection of tools for network auditing and penetration testing. dsniff, filesnarf, mailsnarf, msgsnarf, urlsnarf, and webspy passively monitor a network for interesting data (passwords, e-mail, files, etc.).

arpspoof, dnsspoof, and macof facilitate the interception of network traffic normally unavailable to an attacker (e.g, due to layer-2 switching). sshmitm and webmitm implement active monkey-in-the-middle attacks against redirected SSH and HTTPS sessions by exploiting weak bindings in ad-hoc PKI.

I wrote these tools with honest intentions - to audit my own network, and to demonstrate the insecurity of most network application protocols. Please do not abuse this software.
