Me TV is a digital television viewer for GNOME.
The software was developed for the modern digital lounge room with a PC for a media centre that is capable of normal PC tasks (web surfing, word processing and watching TV). It is not designed to be a full-blown media centre such as MythTV but will integrate well with the existing GNOME desktop. If you think that a remote is something that belongs in a museum then Me TV is probably for you.
It currently supports only DVB-T but Im willing to add support for other DVB types because it seems straight forward. It just needs to be tested.

dctcd is a background-running wrapper for DCTC (Direct Connect Text Client) that automates the running of servers, gathers upload statistics, and works as a chat bot.
There are a few GUIs, some of them are graphical (dc_gui, dc_gui2, dc_qt, ...), other are text based client (danae, ldcc,...) and other are console frontend (rccp).
Enhancements:

Direct Access Provider Library in short DAPL is a transport-independent, platform-independent, high-performance API for using the remote direct memory access (RDMA) capabilities of modern interconnect technologies such as InfiniBand, the Virtual Interface Architecture, and iWARP.
This is the reference implementation of that specification by the DAT Collaborative who maintain the DAPL API.

lget is a Firefox extension that allows you to initiate a direct download of a file given a url.

The aim of the program is to make it as easy as possible for people to do their own personal budgets and keep track of their finances.

libnetshclient is a POSIX/ANSI C library for use in the development of applications that require direct communication (using the netsh protocol) with a Foxmoxie Networks STRATA-family router (or any server-type-application that supports the protocol).
libnetshclient library employs both IPv4 and IPv6, as well as GnuTLS encryption.

Audio::Xmpcr is a Perl API to the XM PCR Satellite radio. It offers two different operating modes (direct and remote+daemon) via a single interface.This is very alpha, use at your own risk. It has only been tested only with few cards.

Ati Rage Pro video card + an ISA addon tv carMythtv currently only supports capture cards that output planar YUV (as far as I know) and the bt82X chip can only output packed format YUV, so until someone patches Mythtv to support other formats...
You do not need the GATOS video driver to use this module in fact you dont even need X. However you should use the gatos video driver if all you want to do is watch tv. (it supports overlay and alot more cards)

- Initial support for Closed captioning, I am almost 100% sure this is not supposed to go on /dev/vbi but thats where it is for now. (EDS data can also be captured but I have no place to put the output yet)
