Crystal Diamond 2.5
Crystal Diamond Icons is a fantastic and realistic icon theme for Kde, a graphical interface for linux. more>>
Crystal Diamond Icons is a fantastic and realistic icon theme for Kde, a graphical interface for linux.
I take the best icons from Realistik, Vista Ispirate, Nuove XT, Crystal Clear, OSX, Debian Icons and many other and I made this Icon Theme. The icons are not mine.
There are different mod such classical, shining, gentoo, arch, debian and kubuntu. The only difference between "Mods" is Kmenu except for Debian Mod (also Kcontrol, Trash and Folder Icon).
There are more icons for one application. For example there are 6 different icons for Firefox! If you like, change into your favourite icon! (Left click, change icon). In the second image for exaple, I change firefox icon.
There are many Mod for you distro:
* Classical
* Shining
* Gentoo
* Debian
* Kubuntu
* Arch
* FreeBsd/PcBsd
* Fedora/Red Hat
* MacOsX
* MacOsX Finder
* Mandriva
* Slackware
* Suse Classic
* Suse Alternative
* Ubuntu
You can see it in the screenshot!
Vista Inspirate is created by Saki, Crystal Clear is created by Everaldo, Nuove XT is created by Saki, OsX is created by kiddo, Debian Icons is created by OnkelchenTobi ...and much more!
For any problem (for example broken link) send me an email: icons[at]paolinoland.it If you like it VOTE ME and SUPPORT ME!

mony 2.5
mony is an ICMP monitoring tool designed to be very flexible, scalable, and fast. more>>
mony is an ICMP monitoring tool designed to be very flexible, scalable, and fast.
What does this program:
reads a configuration file (which can be reread on SIGHUP receival) and tests IPv4 devices
uses O_NONBLOCK so it should be completly non-blocking
programs the tests so there is no flooding effect (if we have to test 10 hosts in 10 seconds we send a test each second)
uses SO_TIMESTAMP for very fine RTT precision
has a modular structure so it can be very easy to change/add new db layers (used for the effective storage of the gathered data) or proc layers (layer which implements the method of gathering/making statistics from the tests)
has a fping-like mode when it reads targets from stdin, runs in foreground, dumps stats to stdout and exits
Installation
./configure
Edit Makefile (if neccesary, but it should work unmodified), and run:
make
Then (as root if needed):
make install
(for installation just copy "mony" to whether location you like)

Diamond Wiki 0.3
Diamond Wiki provides a wiki based on metadata and faceted navigation. more>>
Diamond Wiki provides a wiki based on metadata and faceted navigation.
This is an experimental wiki based on the idea of FacetedNavigation. What does that mean, you ask? At the bottom of each page you will see a list of attributes such as "Subject: Wiki" or "Author: Fred". These attributes are used to construct a dynamic directory of all the pages in DiamondWiki. To see the current directory just click on BrowseFacets.
Attributes are similar to tags, but with two key differences. First, attributes are grouped so that, for example, all the "Subject:" attributes are listed together. Second, attributes can be organized hierarchically, allowing users to drill down to see more and more detail. These differences make attributes much more scalable than simple tags. A website with 10,000 different attributes is perfectly reasonable, while a website with 10,000 different tags would be a cluttered mess.
In Diamond Wiki, anyone can change the attributes applied to a page simply by clicking the edit link at the bottom of the page.
Main features:
- BrowseFacets: this is what makes Diamond Wiki different from other wikis
- MetaData: learn how to add meta data to pages on Diamond Wiki
- SandBox: feel free to change this page and experiment with editing
- GuestBook: let me know you were here!
- WhatsNew: see how the Diamond Wiki software has been changing
- FindPage: search or browse the database in various ways

plugdaemon 2.5.3
Plugdaemon is a tool that is inspired by, but not based on, the plug-gw from Trusted Information Systems. more>>
Plugdaemon is a tool that is inspired by, but not based on, the plug-gw from Trusted Information Systems. It was originally a simpler wannabe, but the connection balancing code and other features makes it a lot more useful (as of 2.3.1 its also a feature-complete replacement for plug-gw).
Plugdaemon acts as a "dumb proxy", forwarding a TCP/IP stream from a port on one host to a possibly different port on a separate host. It runs as a daemon to reduce latency in setting up a connection, and optionally logs every connection via syslog. Eventually plugdaemon will be a complete load balancing and monitoring package for servers.
Not all the planned features are implemented in 2.x.
Enhancements:
- Code cleanup, hash connection structures.
- Dietlibc support by Alexander Lazic (see Makefile)
- Fix load-balancing (Ben Low).

PacKommander 2.5
PacKommander is a GUI wrapper for the pacman package manager of Arch Linux. more>>
PacKommander is a GUI wrapper for the pacman package manager of Arch Linux.
It is my very first Kommander script; but it does the job pretty well. Use it to install, upgrade, search, remove, query packages (local or repository) as well as synchronize database, upgrade system and clear file cache.
Main features:
- Quite light-weight and fast.
- Can perform almost all the tasks that CLI pacman can do. This includes install /upgrade /remove /query /view details /search packages both from server repositories as well as local packages in hard disk.
- Can be (in fact, must be) started as normal user to perform non-admin tasks like search/query pacakges. Root privilege is sought for automatically (using gksudo) as and when required (e.g. to install/remove packages).
- Can handle multiple packages at a time using a Package Queue system. Essentially, a list of queued packages is shown (packages can be added/removed from queue), from where you can select and manipulate multiple packages.
- Certain tasks like Upgrading entire system, syncing database with server, clearing cache, optimizing pacman, etc can be done by a click of a button.
- Hand-editing of certain configuration files is also supported using nano editor in xterm.
- Every task is actually carried out by pacman. The progress can be seen in the external xterm window and the user has to interact with it limitedly (for confirmations, etc.)
- The UI is fully configurable using Kommander-editor.

AbiWord 2.5.2
The AbiWord word processor is a full-featured cross-platform word processor. more>>
AbiWord is rapidly becoming a state of the art Word Processor, with lots of features useful for your daily work, personal needs, or for just some good old typing fun.
AbiWord project is unique among word processors in its drive to become a fully cross-platform word processor. Our source code is carefully written so that AbiWord will run on virtually any operating system with a minimum of time spent on porting.
This combined with our support for internationalization (the ability to run AbiWord in many languages) gives AbiWord a massive potential user-base.
Enjoy your favorite Word Processor on the operating system you like to use - be it Windows, Linux, QNX, FreeBSD or Solaris.
AbiWord has been designed to integrate perfectly with the operating system it runs on. It will take advantage of the functionality provided by the system, such as image loading or printing capabilities.
What use is a Word Processor when you cant share your documents with your friends? AbiWord is able to read and write all industry standard document types, such as OpenOffice.org documents, Microsoft Word documents, WordPerfect documents, Rich Text Format documents, HTML web pages and many more.
Give your document that professional, scientific or fun-to-read look using AbiWords advanced document layout options. Use tables, bullets, lists, images, footnotes, endnotes and styles to enhance the way your document looks.
Since not everyone in the world speaks the same language, AbiWord comes in many different languages. AbiWord is available in most common and many not-so-common languages.
Make sure your document contains none of those nasty spelling errors by using AbiWords built-in spelling checker. Dictionaries exist for over 30 languages.
AbiWord supports right-to-left, left-to-right, and mixed-mode text. This means that in addition to supporting European languages, AbiWord supports languages like Hebrew and Arabic as well.
Do you also hate writing tens of thousands form letters by hand? With AbiWords Mail Merge capabilities, you can let AbiWord automate that job for you. Special fields inserted into a template document can automatically be replaced with data coming from a variety of sources, such as Relational Databases, Comma Separated Text files or Tabbed Text files.
To facilitate the use of AbiWord in a server environment, a powerful command line interface is offered to AbiWord. This allows you to generate form letters, print documents or convert documents to any file format AbiWord supports - all from the command line!
The main AbiWord program is very small and requires very little resources to run. This allows AbiWord the be used on systems that are not considered "State of the Art" anymore, which comes all too quickly in the IT world.
Our plugin system was designed to give AbiWord all the functionality you might expect from a modern Word Processor. A variety of plugins can be used to extend the number AbiWords functionality and range from Document Importers to a Thesaurus, Image Importers and a Text Summarizer.

SendIP 2.5
SendIP is a commandline tool to send arbitrary packets. more>>
SendIP is a command-line tool to send arbitrary IP packets. It has a large number of options to specify the content of every header of a RIP, RIPng, BGP, TCP, UDP, ICMP, or raw IPv4/IPv6 packet.
It also allows any data to be added to the packet. Checksums can be calculated automatically, but if you wish to send out wrong checksums, that is supported too.
Here is a list of protocols that SendIP currently understands:
- IPv4 (but see below section 7)
- TCP
- BGP
- ICMP
- UDP
- RIP
- NTP
- IPv6 (except on solaris)
- ICMPv6
- TCP
- UDP
- RIPng
- NTP?
Other protocols will be added in future versions, as and when I have time to add them.
Of course, it is still possible to send packets using other protocols, but you have to construct the packet data and headers entirely by hand.
Installation
make ; make install should work.
You MUST use GNU make.
On Solaris you need to use gcc-3.x or above, and GNU binutils.
On other platforms, you probably need gcc-2.x or above.
If you have install problems on Solaris, try:
make install INSTALL=/usr/ucb/install
If you cant persuade it to compile or install, mail me with details of what goes wrong, and what system you are trying to install it on.
By this I mean at least:
- output of make -k veryclean all install
- OS, including version
- version of make, gcc, etc
- version of sendip
- anything else you think might be relevant
You can change where it installs by changing BINDIR and/or PREFIX at the top of the Makefile.
A .spec file is included to build RPMS, and source and binary RPMS are also available from the web page. Debian packages are also available, and sendip is included in the FreeBSD ports collection.
Usage
SendIP can take a huge number of commandline parameters. For this reason, future versions may have some sort of user interface...
Please read the man page or sendip -h for details. They are not documented here because they change often between versions and I cant be bothered to keep this up to date.

DUMA 2.5.8
DUMA stops your program on the exact instruction that overruns (or underruns) a malloc() memory buffer. more>>
DUMA (Detect Unintended Memory Access) stops your program on the exact instruction that overruns (or underruns) a malloc() memory buffer.
GDB will then display the source-code line that causes the bug. It works by using the virtual-memory hardware to create a red-zone at the border of each buffer: touch that, and your program stops.
DUMA project can catch formerly impossible-to-catch overrun bugs. DUMA is a fork of Bruce Perens Electric Fence library.
Enhancements:
- Minor bugfixes for MinGW, Mac OS X and Windows in the test environment.
- A new environment variable DUMA_REPORT_ALL_LEAKS to avoid many false leak reports in broken environments.
- A new debug helper function duma_alloc_return().
- The documentation/README have been updated.

libConfuse 2.5
libConfuse is a configuration file parser library, licensed under the terms of the LGPL, and written in C. more>>
libConfuse is a library for parsing configuration files. It was called libcfg before, but was changed to not confuse with other similar libraries.
It supports sections and (lists of) values (strings, integers, floats, booleans or other sections), as well as some other features (such as single/double-quoted strings, environment variable expansion, functions and nested include statements).
It makes it very easy to add configuration file capability to a program using a simple API.
The goal of libConfuse is not to be the configuration file parser library with a gazillion of features. Instead, it aims to be easy to use and quick to integrate with your code.
libConfuse was called libcfg before, but was changed to not confuse with other similar libraries.
