Java Development Environment for Emacs (JDEE) is an Emacs-based integrated development environment (IDE) for developing Java applications and applets.
Features include multiple code browsers, a JPDA-based debugger, method and field completion, template-based and procedure-based code generation, Java source code interpreter, context-sensitive help, and more.
Enhancements:
- On XEmacs, Use efc-xemacs-query-options, i.e., a GUI dialog box instead of a text dialog box, only if use-dialog-box is nonnil.

Modularized Information Environment (MIE) is a Web-based information management tool designed to meet the needs of small or medium sized organizations.

Modularized Information Environment implements user authentication, storage of settings in a database, multi-lingual support and a presentation layer API that always generates well-formed XML.

Flame Project is an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for producing Flash and Animated SVG files, similar to Macromedia Captivate. It is licensed under the LGPL.

Imagine a free, easy to use GUI authoring environment that helps you create visually impressive and actually useful learning material. The short term goal for this project is to provide such an environment, and were well on the way to a first release for doing that.

Initially similar to Macromedia Captivate, but a big part is the support for Animated SVG. Flash has at least one serious design limitation (from my POV) making it nearly useless for comprehensive eLearning, and this appears to be addressed by the SVG spec.

The long term goal for this project is to provide both a complete authoring solution (like the Macromedia Flash IDE), and the components for server side communication, but thats a long way off. Lets finish the first bits first.

Selenium IDE is an integrated development environment for Selenium tests. Selenium IDE is implemented as a Firefox extension, and allows you to record, edit, and debug tests. Selenium IDE includes the entire Selenium Core, allowing you to easily and quickly record and play back tests in the actual environment that they will run.
Selenium IDE is not only recording tool: it is a complete IDE. You can choose to use its recording capability, or you may edit your scripts by hand. With autocomplete support and the ability to move commands around quickly, Selenium IDE is the ideal environment for creating Selenium tests no matter what style of tests you prefer.

Enhancements:

massXpert mass spectrometry package is a mass spectrometry environment for linear (bio-) polymers. It inherits all the innovations of GNU polyxmass, as it is a port of that project to a cross-platform development environment.
Enhancements:
- A feature was added whereby, upon definition of a monomer chemical modification, the user might tell which monomers are targets of that modification.
- If the user tries to modify a monomer with a modification that cannot be used for that, she is alerted.
- A mechanism overriding the modification target limitations is available for maximum flexibility.
- Bugs related to the chemical modification of polymer sequences were fixed.
- The user manual was updated to document the new features.

Interchange provides a mature Web application development environment.
Interchange is a mature Web application development environment with a focus on ecommerce and dynamic content management.
It offers session and user management, database connectivity (both via SQL and a database abstraction layer), templating, a shopping cart, payment processing, inventory, encryption (via GnuPG, PGP, etc.), tax and shipping calculation, discounts, Web-based administration, localization, event routing, SOAP-based RPC, a custom tag language akin to CFML, and the full power of Perl. It grew out of two earlier projects, MiniVend and Tallyman.
Enhancements:
- A DoS exploit caused by carefully crafted HTTP POST requests has been fixed.
- An apparent Perl bug that allowed code called by DispatchRoutines to overwrite the routines arrays themselves has been worked around.
- Masking of unencrypted credit card numbers to work with a custom MV_CREDIT_CARD_INFO_TEMPLATE that does not match the regexp has been fixed.
- The regexp has been fixed so that it removes the CVV2 value from the unencrypted data.
- A shipping problem with the temporary mv_shipping cart that could cause trouble in cart recalculations has been fixed.
- There are other various bugfixes and minor enhancements.

ProjectCenter is GNUsteps integrated developement environment (IDE). It is based in part on NeXTs original Project Builder. It assists you in starting new projects and lets you manage your project files using a intuitive and well ordered graphical user interface.

Over a decade ago, NeXT Computer Inc. revolutionized application development by making two great developer tools available for their operation system OPENSTEP: Project Builder and Interface Builder. These applications made application development much easier and faster and took NeXT ahead of the other computer manufacturers and operating system vendors.

Supporting the project types Application, Bundle, Library, Tool, and Aggregate, ProjectCenter automatically creates the project makefiles and aids you in the process of editing, project compilation, package building and debugging. In the future, built-in CVS support will be available, too.

ProjectCenter is a very useable application, but is still evolving. Support is there for project creation and inspection as well as basic Makefile generation. Using the Application project type, you can already create graphical applications using ProjectCenter and Gorm in conjunction.

GNUstep is a free, standard, object-oriented, cross-platform development environment meant to provide generalized visual interface design, a cohesive user interface, and look good as well. GNUstep is based on and completely compatible with the OpenStep specification developed by NeXT (now Apple Computer Inc.).
GNUstep is a whole load of things, but primarily a framework (libraries, tools, applications) for developing software. It is not a not a window manager. And the libraries are not used by WindowMaker at present, although WindowMaker shares a similar look.

At no stage will you ever run GNUstep - you will run applications and tools and will make use of its services. At some point you may well find packages distributed as GNUstep systems in the way that you get GNU/Linux systems packaged today. Look at Simply GNUstep, the GNUstep Live CD, and Project Backbone for examples.

The ProjectCenter will hopefully consist of the following capabilities somewhen in the midterm future:

* Project management
This includes versioning control, automatic makefile generation, file management etc.

* Source code editing facilities
A builtin editor will be available in a future release. This has not main priority, though.

* Debugging fascilities
A builtin debugger will be added to ProjectCenter as soon as possible!

* Documentation automation help
Automatic documentation generation using autogsdoc or another tool will be introduced later.
