rdesktop is an open source client for Windows NT Terminal Server and Windows 2000/2003 Terminal Services, capable of natively speaking Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) in order to present the users NT desktop. Unlike Citrix ICA, no server extensions are required.
rdesktop currently runs on most UNIX based platforms with the X Window System, and other ports should be fairly straightforward.
rdesktop project was initially written by Matthew Chapman based on various scarce documentation, wire sniffs, and trial-and-error.

Oww Client is a graphical client program for One-Wire Weather (Oww) servers. Oww Client is based on GTK+, displaying lists of collected weather data from one or more servers.
Enhancements:
- Owwl was enhanced to include new sensor types (mainly for cryogenic readout).
- A status window was added.
- Reconnexion is now automatic, after the remote server drops it.

Desktop Drapes is a wallpaper manager application for the gnome desktop.

It has features (period) Features like, randomly changing your wallpaper every once in a while, or whenever you fell like it.

It can also automaticaly pickup any wallpapers you added to a directory with the ninja magic of inotify. Desktop Drapes is written using C# (mono) with the help of Gtk#/Gnome#.

Oracle client is a simplistic Perl-based Oracle client that tries to mimic some of the functionality of PostgreSQL and MySQLs text-based SQL clients.

It is relatively simplistic, but much more useful than dbishell or sqlplus.

The project supports readline, history, desc, and various shorthand commands like d, , c, etc.
